So for some reason, whenever I try to open my game using the Forge profile, the game doesn't launch. The launcher loads the game (it shows the green loading bar at the bottom of the launcher) and then closes, but the game never shows up after the launcher closes. The game opens on my normal profile, but not for the Forge profile. I tried deleting the Forge files and reinstalling it. Didn't work. I tried deleting my .minecraft folder and then redownloading Minecraft. After redownloading, I reinstalled Forge yet again and it still didn't work. This is for version 1.7.10 (yes I made sure I downloaded the 1.7.10 Forge version and made sure I downgraded my Minecraft game to the 1.7.10 version after 1.8 came out). I've been eyeing the Minecraft Comes Alive mod for days now and it's frustrating me that I can't use it since I need to run it with Forge. I know Forge worked for me before because I ran shaders before on this same laptop. I hadn't played on the Forge profile for a while until I wanted to start modding again only to find that Forge didn't work. Could something on my computer be blocking/preventing the game from starting up? Maybe java?

Does the launcher show itself again after not launching? If it does please post an error code. Otherwise all I can do is speculate... Maybe java... forge won't run on java 8 by my understanding
I set my game to show the launcher after the game closes. After I did this I tried to launch the game again. The launcher disappeared but again, the game did not start up. I checked my task manager and there was no process for the game. The launcher did not start up again so I could not find an error code. And I think it may be java because I remember updating my java not to long ago. Maybe it won't run on the updated version of java?

Curse PremiumDoes the launcher show itself again after not launching? If it does please post an error code. Otherwise all I can do is speculate... Maybe java... forge won't run on java 8 by my understanding
