After a while of developing mods solo, I am looking to start a modding team to work on larger, more complex mods. Being with another team, the leader wasn't organized and lacked the desire to run the team, so I decided to leave and start my own. I have one mod currently released, which is gaining popularity by the day (link in sig), and a few other ideas which I am developing with a few other people. Now I am looking for more people to join and help out.
What I Need:
Developers -- A few developers (limit not set), with experience in 1.7, and the ability to use GitHub.
Texturers -- A decent amount of texturers, with the ability to make 16x16 textures.
Modelers -- A couple modelers, with experience in modeling. Be able to model armor, mobs, etc.
GFX Artist -- Someone who can make banners and such for mods. Preferably be able to help with textures
Beta Testers -- Test the pre-release versions of mods and report bugs (Optional: create issues via GitHub).
Ideas People -- For the less talented :). If you strictly want to create ideas, or help create ideas for our mods, this job is for you.
*Skype is a necessity! Skype is used to communicate with your specific team members, as well as the group in whole. If you don't have it, we would ask that you look into it as it is required. You do not need a mic, it is only for chat purposes.
Mods & Ideas
SkyrimMC -- Currently in Alpha_2.2.0, this mod is a Skyrim recreation in Minecraft.
Simpliciy ModPack -- Currently in development, this is the over-requested ModPack of mods created by us.
Celestia RPG -- Currently in pre-dev, Celestia RPG is the next generation of RPG mods.
1. You must participate actively to stay in the team. We don't want a few people creating everything while the others just sit and talk.
2. The team is split into ranks based on expertise and how long he/she has been in the team. For example, there will be a Lead-Developer (currently me), and a Lead-Texturer. These people will supervise and control their team to make sure the work gets done.
3. We will be using GitHub, Google Drive, and Dropbox for our mods.
3a. GitHub will be used between developers, and beta testers. Developers are expected to know how to operate GitHub, and use it to maintain our code. We prefer our beta testers to be able to create issues within GitHub for our developers convenience. This requires a GitHub account.
3b. Google Drive will be a place where developers, texturers, and ideas people share ideas, and list what things need to be done. This requires a Google account.
3c. Dropbox will be used to store source code, textures, and other such files. (high ranked members)
*This may be a lot of information, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
