Why and how does nobody seem to care? This is no rick-roller, Eloraam is actually still alive and working on RP3. She just tweeted something on her twitter 4 hours ago, and a screenshot of the beginnings of RP3 about a week and a half ago.

We already have at least 2 almost complete replacements for RP working in 1.7.x and beyond. Since Eloraam completely abandoned the minecraft and modding community for almost a year, there has been other progeess, and modders who have had to build and design its replacement (not from her prior work, but from scratch because she was so protective of her code) should be recognized for their contributions - I mean Project: Red and RedLogic here and probably others. Now she wants to come back and act as if she didn't cause so much angst and anticipation which were crushed?

I'm not too concerned about her latest work and I wont put it in any of my modpacks (if I make any) because I can only see this happening again and I will have to rethink and wait when it is again abandoned (when Minecraft 1.8 or 1.9 comes out?).

Some modders, such as Eloraam, actually have real lives and responsibilities that, believe it or not, are more important than keeping those who use their mods happy. The fact that she has a real life doesn't mean that she should be shunned for being responsible about things that actually matter. She didn't act as if she'd caused us tons pain because she realizes that, when it comes to the big picture of life, minecraft doesn't really matter at all, and she assumes that we're also grown-up enough to understand that.

I don't plan to update my server until RP3 comes out. When it does, I will update my server with all possible speed so I can have RP, the greatest MC mod ever, once again.

I don't think she will make a redpower 3 mod for MC, the whole Project:Red, RedLogic, and Forge Multipart pretty much has replaced that mod.

Also, that video is from RP2 back in 2011, so its not a preview of RP3.

the ars magica 2 guy is making his mod into a standalone game and i think you forgot about bluepower, which is kind of like project red, but it more closely resembles redpower with its machines and stuff

She's got a little side money coming in under her patron page. I'm sure some of those people were wondering why they still support her recent lack of effort (complete abandonment). Become a patron if you want, but I would rather wait and see what kind of sustained effort actually is going into this project rather then take it on blind, and foolish, faith. Oh, and it's got to be much better then the replacements that have already come out, otherwise what's the point. And if your going to patronize someone then go with one of those authors for now (bird in the hand).

It seems like she's making a new game, not an updated mod. Sorry for the OP but you probably won't get RP3 in minecraft...

I usually like a minimalistic design, that's why I still keep the original red logic banner in my posts. since RP2 she kinda failed me. It just adds too much content and shifted game play too much. However, a new game is a completely different story, and RP is quite promising.

well for one y do we need red power anymore tho we can do every thing this the ME system and it does not have to use chest to store it lol she wants to bring back red power and im sorry idc abt her mod anymore i got mods that work and i wont use her mod anymore i think half of the people who plays minecraft will do the same no other moders will take the time to redo there mods to work with her mod

red power I think will be better than the "spoofs" of it while he was not working on it plus I am excited I knew about mine craft back before slimes from school but I did not get it until 1.7.9 or before

Unless Eloraam said something elsewhere, Redpower 3 is going to be a stand-alone game, it will have nothing to do with Minecraft:
