hmmm, a friend of mine seems to find the grass textures to be a bit "checkerboardy" is how he said it, because alone, the grass looks good, but if you fly above the grass, it seems to not be as smooth connecting to each other. He loves the dirt though.
And the cobblestone he didn't like as much because it wasn't as random looking as vanilla. as in all the "rocks" in the cobblestone are the same size.
Otherwise, he seemed to like everything else.
I thought id relay his responses to you I have been using the textures a lot and have gotten really accustom to it now. I can't wait to see more new stuff!
Sounds good I had argued with him about the cobblestone, and told him he can personally change the one texture just for himself. Il be watching closely for any new stuff, good luck with the new milestones, seems like quite a bit to take on!
All of the downloads are available on CurseForge under the files tab. I will be merging all of the projects into one single resource pack once I have finished them all. It would be too much of a hassle to keep updating the main pack. If you wish to use them all together, use a program like winRar to merge the assets folders from each pack.
I know this is probably going to get shot down, but I kinda feel like GregTech could use quite a big facelift. And maybe that could be a patreon milestone($200-250, perhaps)?
I've already had a few requests for GregTech so I would like to get around to it at some point. Unfortunately, GregTech has 1,813 different textures. Not all of them need to be retextured of course, but it will certainly be time consuming. I may consider listing it as a Patreon milestone but they aren't intended to be projects that will only be completed once the goal is reached, I will do them regardless... so long as I have the time. These milestone are just an indication of the amount of work that would go into the retexturing of a certain mod.
At the moment, I have six projects in progress on top of the work I need to do for Infernal Skies and real life trying to sneak in the way... so it may be a while before I can start on GT. We'll see how it goes.
hmm is there any particular reason why the line on the mfr blocks are one pixel lower than the Thermal expansion blocks? hahaha I thought i would bug you about it, but the new mfr textures really are better. they make me happy. they do not stand out like they did before next to most machines. except for gregtech machines.. those suck.
