Because so many people subscribed to, commented on, and generally supported my one-off 'MITE: Surviving your First Night' video, I've carried on with the series. Episode 2 is now up, entitled, 'Crafting a Hatchet on Day 2.'

...in which I do not craft a hatchet on day 2.
Another slam dunk This could be the series that reboots the franchise.
Has anyone else noticed that the bible salesmen in MITE are, like, really persistent. All night long I yelled at him through the door to move along. Then morning came and he started breaking down the walls!
Well, I got to level -3, and managed to make a comeback to level 1, but that's all I got to say on my new world.
I spend most of my time gathering seeds, but once I hit level 2/3, I'll start digging gravel. So far, I've been trying to raise my levels so I can dig gravel faster and not accidentally starve to death while digging or something like that
Hello guys! I've gained interest in playing this game, finding out it's the most challenging mod! It took me a lot of watching playthroughs about this mod to actually try this! I would like to ask the veterans of this mod to please help me by giving me tips and tricks, aswell as guides for the coming days! It would be greatly appreciated!
Welcome to the MITE community Mindanao! I invite you over to play on the public server! There myself and others can attempt to help you in real time with any issues you have and the world is big enough for more people to enjoy the game!
I have recently been tossing around the idea of making a youtube tutorial video series specifically for MITE going over tips, tricks etc. I will keep the community up to date if I decide to go through with it.
Anything in specific you want to know?
Best quick advice I can throw out there....
1) Harvest and replant sugar cane, it is your earliest source of renewable food. (by turning it into sugar it acts as seeds)
2) Make sure you start preparing a shelter before sunset, waiting even a few seconds to long can be extremely bad for your health.
3) While some people prefer trying to rush their hatchet on day 1/2 I would say take the first couple days to try and stockpile up some food to ensure you can survive the night if you get stuck indoors cause of rain for a couple days.
4) Sticks are your friends, they let you hit things from a farther distance.
Hope they help get you going. Feel free to visit us on the public server at 192.184.81.81

well,
starting on a swamp? nice! collect all sugarcanes you can find. there are also plenty of livestock there. dont forget to grab 4 blocks of clay, youll need them for ovens! but be wary, for wood spiders roam the foresty area! better move to another biome before night
pro tip : harvest sugarcanes by destroying block it is planted to. youll get the block and the cane as well
starting on an xtreme hill? perfect. gravels, livestock, shelters, and trees are all there. kinda the best biome to start in (according to me)
It is my first day of trying this mod and I was really astonish on how the game changed greatly, it's like similar to history. (Which is my favourite subject)
Ofcourse, I re-world alot of times to pick the right world. And so I decided to stay at a splitted biome, half snow, half plains, which was a great advantage to me because of the abundance of food. In my first day, I decided to hunt for food supply, I continued hunting for like 3 days, aswell as part-timely, gathering sticks and gravel along my way. I chose to be a nomadic person, I kept moving forward! In the 3rd night of the day, I mined gravel to obtain flint chips which I would craft together to make a whole flint. Luckily, in that night, I obtained my first flint hatchet!
In the 4th day, I decided to go the plains, to hunt more meat for hunger bars, on the way, I always pick dandelions for salad, so that I could have temporary food, so that I can have enough meat to cook, which is more beneficial! As I hunted, I obtained a minimum quantity of leather to construct my first torso and leg armor, which I dye with my dandelions.
... In the 5th day, I decided to gather a minimum quantity of sand, to convert it to sandstone, so that I can construct a sandstone oven, which I will use for burning wood to make my first charcoal, which would be beneficial because I hate being in the dark anymore, aswell as cook my raw meat to be much more nutritional.
There is soon to come, as I await the sunshine, I continue to dig gravel to obtain more flint, which now, I aim to obtain a flint axe to obtain more wood supply for my basic tools. Thank you for reading, so far of what I've experience in MITE!
Damn, I couldn't think what scenario to be stuck in a cave, hope you got those food with 'ya! Anyways, It's now day 6 in my MITE, and just finished summarizing and calculating the expenses I lost in my supplies aswell formulate my plans and objectives for the day. Anyways, I'm need to stop my playthrough today because I still have classes tomorrow, but I will totally continue my playthrough!
#Ajaxx 84, Thank you for your advice! I'm trying to join the public server, but I cannot. My IGN is, "tehdrumdude". Hope I can join soon!

When you post a mod: "No pics no clicks" and "MCreator = bad ~99% of the time"
Don't forget to read the crashlog before reporting the crash. It might tell you why it's crashing.
