In playing around with the DragonMounts mod in my first few days on my Attack of the B-Team server I realized there wasn't much on the web that I could find with good images of the dragons, or a guide as to how to get each type. So here is what I was able to come up with. As of the version of Dragon Mounts that is in AotBT v1.0.8 I was able to hatch 8 different types of *adorable* ferocious little baby dragons:
1. EnderDragon - the default. looks just like the one from vanilla that you beat in the End. Place an egg anywhere that doesn't spawn one of the other 7 to get this type (when you right click to start hatching).
2. Aether Dragon - a hat top to the Aether mod? that is blue, has patterns on it's skin, and Gold bracelets on its arms. Place a dragon egg on a platform in the clouds (a high Y coord.) to get this type (when you right click to start hatching).
3. Fire Dragon - Red scales on it's skin and orange firey wings and ears. Surround the block the egg is on with lava or fire to get this type (when you right click to start hatching).
4. Water Dragon - Blue smoother looking skin and grey wings and ears, with a cool looking forked tip to its tail. Surround the block the egg is on with water to get this type (when you right click to start hatching).
5. Ghost Dragon - Gray/Bone White smoother looking skin and eerie glowing wings ears and eyes. Place the egg in a cave deep underground with no light to get this type (when you right click to start hatching).
6. Forest Dragon - Dark green scales on it's skin with a vine pattern on its body and lighter green accents to its wings and ears. Surround the block the egg is on with tree leaves to get this type (when you right click to start hatching).
7. Ice Dragon - Clean White scales on its skin with ice blue slightly transparent accents on its wings and ears. Surround the block the egg is on with ice/snow to get this type (when you right click to start hatching).
8. Nether Dragon - Netherrack skin with red accents on its wings and ears. Surround the block the egg is on with netherrack to get this type (when you right click to start hatching).
Let me know if you discover any others, or know of any other types that will be coming out in the future.
Thanks a bunch for this! I was not looking forward to waiting on each type and hoping I got them right just to see what they look like. Now I can pick the best one for me

Thank you so much for this list! I did some testing around and I found out that each dragon has its own special ability. I learned that fire and nether dragons have fire resist., and that the aether dragon flies slightly faster. However, I'm having difficulties finding the other abilities, assuming that they possess any. If anyone is able to figure this out, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I went and nearly tortured all eight dragons and found this much information:
All of them share the same armor and attack, with no more or less damage, and no special effects, sadly. None of them can fly or be ridden through water (or water-like liquids, at least 3 high, or enough to put the rider in the water), while the nether and fire dragons can still be ridden through lava (and other burning lava-like liquids). All dragons are immune to the damaging effects of Cactus. Ender, Ice, Aether, and Ghost dragons are immune to poison (tested with sewage, liquid poison, and poison splash potions), while the Ghost dragon is also immune to wither (tested with sludge). The ghost dragon also exhibits undead properties, taking damage from healing potions, and healing from harming potions; it's unaffected by regeneration potions, however. On top of this, the ghost dragon makes skeletal sounds instead of roaring. Surprisingly, the Ice dragon is NOT immune to the damaging effects of Gelid Cryotheum. Fire and Nether dragons' immunity to fire extends to heat sand and other "hot", damaging, non-burning blocks similar to heat sand.
All eight dragons have shown breeding capabilities like normal animals. When fed fish, they will get the breeding heart particles, and will seek out a mate. The egg can be either parent, and may be laid by either, appearing directly beneath one of the dragons. I've personally noticed an egg a Forest dragon laid change from an Ice egg to a Forest egg over some time before it began to hatch. This may be some feature, as no dragons were interacted with during the time. The environment has no effect on what the species will be once the dragon has laid it, and it seems impossible to breed outside the species of the parents (so to get all eight, you need 8 different Dragon Eggs to begin with).
While not special abilities, I'd still like to point out these differences:
Ice dragon glows from its wings, horns, and spikes, both in darkness and underwater.
Ghost dragon has a bone body that can be seen through, and glows from its wings, horns, and spikes.
Nether dragon glows all along its body, making it completely visible even under an invisibility potion.
Fire dragon has two rows of ridges along its tail, unlike all the other dragons.
Water dragon has three spikes coming out of each side of the tip of its tail, looking like a fin (think Vaporeon?).
Forest dragon sports a vine pattern on its side. It's almost hidden, green on green.
Ghost dragon has no noticeable pupils. They eye goes from a light blue on the outside to white on the inside.
Aether dragon occasionally has no pupils. The slightly darker yellow pupils sometimes don't show up when the dragon has its head turned the right way.
Fire dragon and Nether dragon have the most noticeable pupils, with red on yellow. The others have very similar, poor-contrasting colors - green on green, blue on blue, purple on purple, pale green on white, yellow on yellow, and no pupils at all.
Fire dragon and Ice dragon lack the "ears" texture on the side of their head, which the other dragons have. The Nether dragon's ears blend in with the mixed pattern of its skin.
Fire dragon has what appears to be singed holes in its wings.
Saddles look different on some dragons:
Fire dragon's saddle is bright yellow, with yellow bands and buckles around its body.
Nether dragon's buckles are a nether red color.
Aether dragon's bands are a cloudy white, and the buckles are a golden yellow.
Edit: I've noticed Water dragons refusing to fly after spending extended time in the water. This hasn't been thoroughly tested, as it popped up when I was trying to drown them and suffocate them (both of which all dragons are immune) and only the Water dragons kept flying back toward the ground and descending on their own instead of hovering, where they'd stand with their legs in the ground, like they're laying down. Just an interesting note that water dragons prefer to not fly when they've been swimming.
Also, killing any dragon, as part of Morph mod, will unlock the pig morph, and morph you into a pig, not keeping record if you've already killed the specific dragon, eg killing five water dragons will morph you into a pig each time as if it is a new morph.
This may be a little bit of reviving an old thread, but I figured this was the best place to add this info.

Daaang! Well done doing all that testing! Thanks for that!!
I always seem to have a problem with the aether dragon, I put it on a platform and right click it, but it says ender dragon, not aether dragon, then it falls through the platform floor, and splats dead, please help.
when I try to tame my dragon my minecraft launcher crashes. This really upsets me because i LOVE dragons PLZ FIX THIS (if you are not having this problem plz tell me how to fix it I WANT A DRAGON PET!!!
i already knew about all of them except for forest and ice, and i didn't know how to get the ghost. thankyou for this. (also, it's not ears, it's the horns.)
Just wondering; does anyone else have problems with the dragons walking through solid blocks and getting stuck there? Unless they are tamed, mine happen to do that ALOT. Also having problems with dragons laying down and not responding to my commands after I close minemine craft and then open it again (fully grown, tamed and saddled dragons btw).
Hi, how could I download and play mods without forge as I keep crashing and if you want to talk to me in minecraft my username is jerlim and I usually play on itsjerryandharry's server (play.itsharryandjerry.com) and theemeraldisle(play.theemeraldisle.net), but I usually play on theemeraldisle as I get to meet my best friend there ,sometimes she's there but sometimes she's not and her username is rypedator (she uses her bro's account)
