while playing today I had gotten ratios wrong for alumite and wound up with some nuggets. I think it would be great to be able to have a nugget cast (like the ingot cast) in order to rectify anything that may happen like that again.
A awesome addition to this mod would be a super rare ore that is found inside the first 9 chunks of the would. There would only be 1 block of this ore per world. But if there is other mods like twilight forest and Armoa mining world they can spawn the ore just in there first 9 chunks. This ore would give a single item that can be added to any tinkers tool, that would give a special ability to the tool (determined by you).

Well two suggestions.
1- The bigger tools have the same size as the normal (i mean when you see them equiped) its a bit "Strange", a cleaver has the size a long sword, and broadsword, and well that aplies to all the tools who need a four pieces bench.
2- One more kind of weapon, the greatsword, claymore, zweihander or whatever you want to call it, its easy, instead of beging like the clumsy cleaver its faster (like the broadsword) has a jump back or forward attack, and a lot less durability than the cleaver. (1/2 or 1/3). Its maked with the large blade, de rought rod, and the wide guard. (Maeby one normal rod more if you don't want it craftable on the three piece bench). Its should have the same damange and nothing more, just that. This is just an idea for making an extra and realistic big sword, for the ones who doesnt like at all the cleaver.

A mod i saw had an ender sword that transported mined blocks to a players ender chest, im not sure what the ethics or legalities are like in the modding community but i think it would be a cool addition (probably a modifier) to your mod.
You should add a disassembly table that is what you might guessed disassemble your tools, like an example you have a cobalt cleaver, you want the blade to be volcanite you would go into the disassembly table and take off the blade then replace it with the volcanite one, thats how it works you could change the parts of the tool
I dunno if anyone has suggested this, but ohohoh an arrow with a rope attached (where the rope could be upgraded to be longer) for when you shoot the arrow, you can hit a wall (only certain material blocks) and create a zipline...
