We need a tinkers fishing rod. There's currently only the fairly boring wooden variety in vanilla, and while they DID add some enchants for it it's still kinda boring. You need to spice it up!
Also we need some more bows. A longbow would be an obvious choice, but also a pretty good one. It would shoot straighter, stronger, but slower.
Maybe a mace, mace heads and tool rods together... or a morning star, special ability would be to throw it like a fishing rod. It could be a good replacement for daggers once you get the tool forge.
You could make a mace head, a tough tool rod, and a chain which would be able to be made out of string, and every metal...
Idk. Keep up the good work though, I love the mod especially with thaumcraft!
Oh, and you should be able to make armor from the actual tool stations and tool forges rather than crafting it in a boring old crafting table.
You must've seen this method in other mods: hold the item in your hand, hold down shift, and then use the scroll wheel to scroll through the different options of that particular item you're holding.
It's the same thing, with a bow; you can scroll thorugh and quick select any arrow types that are in your inventory.
The mod that makes it so tools level and parts can be replaced when fully repaired is awsome and I would love to see it made part of the normal mod.
I think it would be nice to see a crossbow. Making one should require a lot of parts and behave like one... instant powerful shot with a reload time and shorter range. Also a compound bow using metal parts would be nice, more power and range but takes longer to draw.
it would be nice to see more craftable upgrades like the sticky and lava gem. maybe even tool/weapon specific.
like say a redstone accelerator or magnet for tools and redstone powered gears for bow/crossbow. Luck gems made of lapis, clovers, and gold nuggets? Hehe
idk but I like the idea of crafting an upgrade rather than just adding x material, not that couldn't be used to power an upgrade once applied.
I don't know what mod it was but there was one that the armor came with some free mods, a small built in protecion like leather armor and some tinny little buffs the boots let you walk up 1 block high and dear lord you have no idea how nice that is till you have it the. Lose it

Is this going straight to Boni by any chance? (Unless you help develop, then my mistake).
Anyways, I have a couple:
Smelteries should be able to support multiple cores (the block where you melt items and define which one is poured). I have two floors that use the same smeltery, and it's annoying that I can pour from the bottom floor, but have to go to the top floor to specify what to pour and what to smelt.
Make Necrotic bones a tiny bit more common. I've killed ALOT of Wither skeletons, and I've never gotten a Necrotic Bone. I've upgraded Lapis all the way on my sword, but no luck.
Add a bit more variation for the bows. There aren't many modifiers you can apply to the bow, so maybe it could have exclusives. A modifier that can make the bow fire multiple arrows, for example.
More shafts, which are what specifies most of the weight and/or accuracy.
A few more bowstrings; Direwolf20's latest Forgecraft season showed a fiery bowstring, so this might already be happening.
The ability to remove modifiers. There's been several times I had to remake a bow just to increase the RF capacity.
When applying Flux to a bow, I get a '-1 modifiers remaining' glitch, which I have to fix using a creative modifier. It'd be nice to have that fixed.
Finally, make most of the additions from Iguana Tweaks official. The leveling system works very well with the items.
I would also like to see a high tier modifier adding material.
Maybe something added through thaumacraft research that you must make the nautral ore clusters for it in the infusion alter. Thus justifying it having +mods and a higher damage/durablity/ect

How about Armor? You could make say cobalt boots, then add some rubber or wool and you get feather falling. Or you could add some blaze powder and get fire resistance. With the vast usefulness of the tools, why not armor?
I think that more there should be more customizations for the arrows. I think that you should be able to make explosive and ender arrows. The explosive arrows could use an SDX or vanilla TNT to add an Explosive enchantment onto it and it can destroy blocks. The ender arrows should use an eye of ender, or maybe some new block to be more expensive and wherever the arrow lands it will teleport the player. Also, to nerf it from being too op with the moss for infinite arrows, if either item is applied to the arrow it decreases the number of arrows that you can hold. Thank you for reading and please feel free to critique my ideas
Boomerangs. They might take 2 boomerang arms to make, with a binding in the middle. They could be made out of any material that a bow limb could be made of, but maybe also out of leaves (or something). Seeing as how you've recently added all of the cool stacked ranged weapons, maybe this would be possible. I'm also thinking that if it is lighter (like made of wood or leaves) it could go farther, but wouldn't do so much damage. And likewise, can't go as far, but deals more damage if it were heavier (like made of obsidian, or steel). I was also thinking that it would only stack to one, the same way some high level javelins do, but have almost no charge up time. The possible downside (or upside) would be that it returns. "How is that a downside?" you might be asking me. I'll tell you: because it would take a second or two to return (maybe heavier, harder hitting ones would take a while to return, and the lighter, weaker ones could return quicker). I think that this would be seriously cool, and that if one was made out of wood, for the limbs, and the red metal (ardite?) for the binding, it would look like a stereotypical Australian boomerang.
Oooh, side thought! maybe there could be two kinds of boomerangs: A light kind, made with (regular) boomerang limbs, and a (regular) tool binding. And a heavy kind, made with heavy boomerang limbs, and a tough binding. The light kind cannot be made with metal (so only made with slime, wood, leaves, and other low level material), and the heavy kind can only be made with metals.
Also, maybe they a higher chance of beheading than a normal weapon would (without a pearl anyway), because only one weapon naturally does that (cleaver).
Oh yeah, and also, the light kind could be tier one, and the heavy kind be tier 2.

The Capacitor Bank (the block form) do work for making RF tools.

modiefiers as redstone (haste) make the boomerang return faster, sharpness makes it stronger, etc.
you could do that you have to catch it by right-clicking it, or by using moss it auto-catches.
if you don't catch it without the moss, you get damage.
lapis makes the accuracy better.
That is all I got for now.
sorry if I have bad english.
Thanks!
