It's been awhile sense I've used the aether mod but maybe I can help. To start, please tell me what operating system you use and exactly what you did to install the mod.

you can install it with this video which tells you how to install it but beware that it will downgrade you from 1.5.1 to 1.0 ... (hit the watch on YouTube button to see the link)
