Ok guys, this was suggested in the official Mo' Creatures Mob Suggestion thread because all of the dragon ideas buried the non-dragon ideas. So, feel free to post any dragon-related idea, but please be kind and not excessive cuss words. Thanks!
Only post thought out suggestions. Please not just post like "a brown fly dragon" or something like this. I will post the suggested ideas below, but only if they are thought out and well developed.
Feel free to post pictures of what you would like the dragons to look like or models that you have actually made.
Also feel free to post download links of maps of dragon caves, dudgeons, villages, colosseums, or anything else that relates to the ideas or someone else's ideas, or you can post images of the cave, etc.
Here is a link to the main Mo' Creatures Mob Suggestion Thread:
Here is a list, per person, of the ideas already suggested:
Dragons-rare, very large reptile. Lots of HP, and do great damage. Different types depending on biome. All dragons can be ridden (running and flying(except the cave and emerald)) when tamed and have room for an inventory, except cave dragons and emerald dragons. When killed, they drop dragon scales 2-5 and dragon meat 2-4. Dragon scales are used to make dragon armor (same protection as diamond) and dragon saddles. Dragon meat can be cooked to restore 4 hunger or given to baby dragons that the player hatches with a medallion.
Categories of Dragons- dragon species are basically split up into three groups: Minor Dragons, Major Dragons, and Dragonians
Minor Dragons- Dragons that are born like regular dragons, except they stay at the size of a chicken. The get their colors and wings after 2 minecraft days. They can act like birds, putting them on your head will make you glide and not take fall damage. They also can follow you around and shoot their color-orientated breath attack, attacking all hostile mobs around you.
Major Dragons- basically the regular dragons:
Hatchling (1st stage-baby)- a little bigger than a chicken and all dragons will be skin colored with tiny, unmoving wings
Wyrmling (2nd stage-child)-about as big as a pig, light color version of the adult, slightly bigger wings, movable, but not ride-able
Drake (3rd stage-teen)-about as big as a horse, same color as the adult, medium wings, ride-able by only one player, no matter how many they can carry as an adult.
Dragon (4th stage-adult)-about twice as big as a horse, big wings, can be ridden by the max number of players for that species, able to carry 1-2 chests, and able to breed.
Dragonians-these are the nether equivalent of dragons (except for the night and lava), but they are humanoid dragons, standing on two legs, reddish-brown, small wings, but able to fly for short time periods. Can sometimes be found riding lava dragons, or night dragons on occasion. There is a .1% of them dropping a dragonian egg, which can be incubated in a lava dragon’s incubator and hatched to become a smaller dragonian which will fight for you. (If you have two dragonians, you can breed them by giving them lava buckets.)
Major Dragons are found in mating pairs on “Breeding Islands” which are small islands floating in the air roughly at cloud level over a certain biome (that biome being what type of dragon they are, except cave, lava, and fairy dragons). The islands have a 50% chance of spawning in any biome and are made of 1-2 layers of stone and 3-4 layers of dirt, being also the max of 20x20x7 and the smallest of 12x12x5. They contain two adult dragons, male (smaller than the female, but brighter in color) and female (larger than the male and more dull colored) a nest with 1-4 eggs or hatchling, which can be stolen or taken when the dragons are killed. The player will throw the egg down like chicken eggs, having around a 25% chance to spawn a baby dragon the same color as the adult or when put into a incubator (crafting guide below) (depending on the dragon egg's "race") the chance of hatching a baby dragon will increase to 90%. Dragons can be tamed when they are babies by feeding them dragon meat and giving them a medallion. When grown, (taking about 16-20 minecraft days) the adult dragon will attack for the player and can be ridden when given a saddle.
Minor Dragons are never seen in the wild. Their eggs spawn randomly in any biomes above and below ground, normally near water (or in it.) When hatched, the color is a random chance, but the biome hatched in increases the old for that color.
Dragonians are found strictly in the nether, usually near lava and nether fortresses, but can be found roaming anywhere and sometimes found riding dragons.
Types of Dragons
-Lava Dragon=Red: Lives in or near lava, fireproof, breathes fire that has a 50% chance to catch the player or blocks around them on fire. In the Nether or in the real world (only single, no nests), hiding in lava. A four-legged beast with two wings, a long tail, and horns. The lava dragon’s nests are small islands over the middle of lava oceans in the nether and are a favorite mount of dragonians.
-Night Dragon=Black: Spawn at night or in the Nether rarely, very aggressive, has breath of darkness attack. A four-legged beast with two wings, almost no tail, and horns, being able to carry up to two riders.
-Mountain Dragon=Brown: Lives in mountain biomes, avoids being in sight of player, but attacks if player comes close by breathing tons of tiny pebbles, each doing around .25 hearts. This dragon looks like a small mountain, until it moves, transforming into a four legged beast covered in small, cracked rocks with two wings, a long tail, and horns.
-Water Dragon=Blue: Lives in water, usually ocean biomes, but sometimes spawning in underground reservoirs. Has water jet breath attack. Can grab player and attempt to drown them. This dragon has the appearance of a long lizard with tentacles, but with long rudder like limbs and long skinny wings. When flying rain comes from its wings and falls on everything under it.
-Emerald Dragon=Green: Smaller than most dragons, lives in forests, does not attack unless provoked. Uses biome colors to change its appearance, varying from light to dark green (light green-plains, green-forests, dark green-swamp, very bright green- jungle). These dragons shoot venom from its long, sharp fangs, infecting the player with a lethal poison. This dragon resembles a wyvern, having two legs, two wings, three long, skinny tails, and long, skinny horns and fangs coming from of its head. They climbs tree very rapidly, going sideways and upside-down until reaching the top when it leaps off and glide away from attackers, not being able to fly for real.
-Snow Dragon=White: Lives in Tundra biomes, freezes water, causes snow storms, and has lots of health lots of health. Resembling a snow mound until provoked or tread upon, then it turns into large, very fast form of a wyvern with four wings and two tails. When attacked, they shoot a spray of ice and snow, slowing the player and having a 10% chance of encasing them in a block of ice, freezing the player in place until they break out. The tundra equivalent is slightly larger than the cold forest version.
-Cave Dragon=Gray: The smallest of Dragons, lives in caves, very aggressive in protecting its territory. Can dig through stone and also breath liquid metal and burning the player. These dragons have four squat legs, two tiny wings that don't work, a wide, fat body, and a very square head on a short, fat neck. This dragon takes damage in direct sunlight after a minute. Despite its appearance, not being to fly has made this dragon into a formidable runner, going faster than any type other mount
-Gold Dragon=Yellow: Rarest, largest, and toughest of all dragons, lives primarily in desert, but sometimes seen flying across biomes to get to a new desert. This dragon looks like the ancient Chinese dragons and breaths lightning on attackers, dizzying them and sometimes burning them for extra damage. Though not having wings, gold dragons can still fly. This dragon can carry up to three players and has extra room in its inventory.
-Fairy Dragon=pink: Seen flying in any biome, these dragons are extremely friendly. Fairy dragons have four dainty little legs, two butterfly wings, a small skinny body, and small curly horns. The player can change the color of their fairy dragon by right clicking it with any dye. The only way to get a tamed fairy dragon is to get its eggs. Fairy dragons only fly around, only touching the ground to fight something on the ground, so they don't have a nest. The only way to get fairy dragon eggs is by letting it kill your fairy horse. When the dragon kills your horse, it will make a nest where the horse corpse was and lay 1-4 eggs in the nest, which you can steal after killing the dragon, or you can sneak to steal the eggs.
Mushroom Dragon=red/brown: can only be found in mushroom biomes, these dragons attack by spiting boiling hot mushroom soup. They are smaller than most dragons, and are covered in mushrooms. The male version is red with white dots, while the female is brown. Can be sheared to get mushrooms (they grow back, then able to shear again, like sheep, except they must eat mycelium).
Special Dragons: All the created dragon eggs can be put into any of their corresponding color incubators to increase the chance of being hatched.
Undead and Skeleton Dragons- All dragons can be given the essence of undead to transform the in the undead, first being a zombie dragon and next becoming a skeleton dragon after a while unless given the essence of light.
Hydra- This dragon is created by getting any three dragon eggs and a bucket of water and putting them in a crafting table. The created hydra egg will have one head for every egg, so there can be different color heads on your hydra. The body of the hydra will be one color, the legs another and the tail the last color. Hydras are the fastest swimming mount and fast as a tier four horse on land, but cannot fly.
Chinese Mythological Dragon- this dragon is created by putting any 8 eggs together in a crafting table with a diamond block in the middle. The Chinese dragon doesn’t take any damage at all and is the fastest possible mount in the game. It is also able to carry four inventory chests.
There could possibly be more, but I haven’t thought of them.

Dragonmelon- a blue and red striped looking melon that drops a whole dragonmelon when broken. Used to breed dragons. Dragonmelon seeds can be crafted by putting melon seeds, pumpkin seeds, lapis lazuli, & red dye in a crafting table.
Dragon Breeding- Breeding dragons is much like horses, requiring them to be put within 4 block of each other, requiring the minimum of 8 block away from other dragons and other mobs, and requiring them to be fed dragonmelon. The outcome of breeding different types of dragons is much like breeding dolphins, but instead of having a genetic value, dragons have colors. Like a color scale, the combination of colors will have a 25% chance to be a result in their baby (example- breeding a blue dragon and a gold dragon will have a 25% of producing a green dragon). After breeding, both dragons become sterile, unless you turn on Easy Dragon Breeding in the Mod Options section in setting. Also after breeding, the mating pair of dragons will construct a nest, from which you can take the eggs after they grow to the right size, which takes about 2 minecraft days. The bred eggs have a 100% chance to hatch a new baby dragon, unless taken from the nest before the full 2 days. If the eggs are taken before the full 2 days, they act like wild eggs, only having a 25% chance, unless put in an incubator. Once hatched, they will grow through 4 life stages, each taking about 4-5 minecraft days. The stages of life can be boosted by giving them raw dragon meat (32 pieces= one stage). The stages are Hatchling, Wyrmling, Drake, and Dragon.
Riding Dragons- All dragons can be ridden when tamed (hatched by the player + dragon flesh) and some can be ridden with multiple people (gold and night). To ride a dragon, it requires a special saddle called a dragon saddle. Dragons that can carry more then one require more than one saddle to do so and the front most rider controls the flying.

Maybe the diferent age of dragons can work like that..
Dragon child: dimensons 1 block or less..works similar like cats and dogs..
Adolescent dragon:like horse but can make a attack by his self..can't fly or swim with you above..can work like child dragon, dimensions like a horse..2x2 or 3x2..
Adult dragon: like adolescent but can fly or swim..with you above..
All dragons have 2 attacks except earth dragon..mele and breath attack..
Blue dragon: move slow in the earth..move really faster in water..attack:water rush, like a horitzontal water cone..
Earth dragon: can drill like diamond pickaxe but without wastage..the stronger dragon in mele combat..
White dragon:can throw snow blocks and freeze the mobs..maybe that move slower or apear around it a texture like ice blocks, can breeze water and walk in the ice..(similar than snowgolem, but makeing the same from the dirt in the water..)
Red dragon: breath fire, and can use lava rush like water rush..
Yellow dragon:can use lightnings..is the faster dragon..inmune to fire and lava..
Black dragon:blindness+withness breath..
Ascended dragon:asian dragon..power?color?
Green dragon: spit poison..spider cave posisonX2..
Diferent dragons have diferent endurance, strenght and breath damage power..
Winged dragon:can be fire dragon, white dragon,etc..that have wings and can fly..maybe can born to cross tamed wyvern and unwinged any type of dragon..
Unwinged dragon: can be red dragon, blue dragon,etc..that can't fly..is stronger than winged dragons and have more endurance..are more usual than flying dragons..
2 head dragon:can born breeding 2 diferent type of dragons..have only 30% posibilities..usually born like 1 of his parents..
example:fire dragon+ice dragon=35% to be fire dragon,35% to be ice dragon,30% 2 headed dragon fire&ice..1st head is red 2nd is white the body is pink..
lightning dragon+fire dragon=35% fire dragon,35% lightning dragon,30% two headed burning storm dragon..1 head red other head yellow, orange body,etc..
this dragon is just as rare as a golden and is found strictly in the end(maybe if not then the nether). this dragon is not hostile nor passive and only attacks if attacked or you steal one of its eggs.can be tamed as a hatchling kid teen or fully grown. is about twice as big as a horse and has large green eyes. its nocturnal and is mostly black but can rarely be found in different colors. each color is right under the point of black. depending on the color is how it attacks (like black shadow breath red fire purple poison etc). is the fastest of all the dragons due to its bullet shaped body and large wings. is nocturnal and can only be hatched at night. if you tame an adult dragon it will let you pick up its eggs. you can do this by crafting a leather egg bag and right clicking on it with the bag. one bag can hold up to 3 eggs. once you have the eggs in the bag you can put it over your soldier by pressing "O" press again to take it off. you can ride your dragon with a special saddle (normal horse saddle that is crafted with the essence of fire).
to breed you need two dragons of the same species and no other dragons around (like horses).
feed them both any kind of meat
one of them will get eggs and need a nest to rest. you can find a wild dragons nest with no eggs and take that or craft a nest.(ill put the recipe later)
it will take 2-4 in game days to hatch and 3-4 in game days to grow to the next stage (so all together it will be 9-12 days to be an adult)
you need a special saddle to ride one (a horse saddle with fire essence no recipe)
once you're riding a dragon walking is just like normal except you cant go sideways
to fly you have to point up and hold space.
once your in the air you cant go sideways or back only up down and forward. the dragon is easy to control all you need to is hold space and the dragon will go whatever way your facing. to use the dragon's attack you press f for fire or m for melee.
egg bag recipe
ice dragon extremely rare dragon found in any biome(making snow and freezing water possibly if not than in the tundra biome). can swim in water and lays its eggs underwater, making a layer of ice over the spot where it's eggs are. can be tamed with fish and when riding one can breathe snow. attacks with an icy breath that can freeze you(making you slow).
-European Dragon: is any solid color, four legs, two wings, the ability to breath fire and fly. Hoards treasure.
-Frost Dragon: is light blue and/or white in coloring, build similar to a European's, spews a liquid that freezes upon contact instead of flame, and can fly. Less interested in treasure than the European.
-Dwarf Dragon: like a small European Dragon; is any solid shade of blue, lighter underbelly, red eyes, collects anything(not only treasure), can fly; is one of the few dragons that is gregarious. Does not breath an element
-Wyvern: largest of all dragons, even though it is often referred to as a fake dragon. Two legs, two wings, dull greens or browns, are rarely seen on the ground, does not hoard or breath an element.
-Marsupial Dragon: Similar in build to the Wyvern; does not hoard, breaths blue flame. Is flightless; attacking and behavior is similar to a kangaroo's. Has a pouch on its belly to hold its young.
-Tasmanian Dragon: one of the rarest of all dragons. Lives in rainforests, does not hoard, and can only glide from tree to tree. Four legs, two small wings. Tail is long, and they use it to signal to each other. Their young cling to their parent's backs, instead of inside a pouch like the Marsupial.
-Chinese Lung: lithe, no wings, four legs, maned and horned, peaceful and wise dragon. Does not hoard or breath an element, but it can fly. Is a variety of blues and greens.
-Korean Yong: Similar to the Chinese Lung, except longer and thinner; coloring is a gold.
-Lindworm: serpentine, two legged no winged dragon. They are a dull yellow, green, or brown. They do not hoard or breath an element.
-Tibetan Dragon: Similar to Korean Yong, except much smaller and scarlet in coloring. Also neutral instead of peaceful and cannot fly.
-Knucker: dull red or brown in coloring; does not hoard, is poisonous. Four short legs, two small, useless wings. Cannot fly.
-Bucca: Similar to the Knucker; is a solid color, is very very small(about the size of a silverfish) is harmless like a small slime. Cannot fly and is not attracted to treasure.
-Hummingdragon: Smallest dragon; the color of flowers on which they feed. Harmless, does not hoard treasure or breath an element. Also one of the nicest of the dragons.
-Mexican Ampithere: serpentine dragon, no legs, two wings. One of the few dragons with feathers on them. Hoards treasure, is neutral unless approached too closely. Breaths fire, rarely seen on the ground. Is mostly shades of blue and green.
-American Ampithere: similar to Mexican Ampithere, except gregarious, with bright yellow eyes and any solid color. Sports less feather and has leathery wings. Does not hoard as much.
-Sea Serpent: Not often regarded as a true dragon, it is a serpent that lives in the ocean. Does not hoard, or breath an element. Is any shade of blue or teal.
-Gargoyle: Not often regarded as a true dragon. Is any shade of grey, turns to stone during the day and comes awake at night. They are neutral, do not hoard treasure, and do not breath an element.
-Hydra: Is a dragon with any more than 1 head on its body. Hydras can have from 2-7 heads. Some even have massive chests to support 10 heads! They're coloring and habits same as a European's. Depending on the head type, the hydra will have different elemental abilities.
Note: These are all called "Fanwings" because they all have two legs and two wings; the term "Fanwing" refers to the fact that the wing membrane goes all the way to the tip of their tail. If one watches a Fanwing fly, they look like giant triangles in the sky.
-Fire Fanwing: Spews fire, is fire and lava resistant
-Earth Fanwing: Morphs the landscape(can be configurable to not do so). Cannot suffocate in blocks. It also creates plants around it.
-Water Fanwing: Spews water; when flying water droplets drop down from it onto the surrounding landscape. Cannot drown.
-Air Fanwing: Never lands, like the EnderDragon. Is hard to approach due to the gales it can cause. If it does manage to touch the ground it stays there only briefly, destroying decorative blocks such as flowers and grass because of its air-related abilities. Cannot take fall damage(for you can knock it out of the sky with enough effort)
-Lightning Fanwing: Appears only during thunderstorms. Will shoot lightning at the player, is fire resistant.
-Darkness Fanwing: Appears only when in a big enough space at least 20 blocks from bedrock. Has black particles similar to the Nether Portal's coming off of it. Will coat things in Liquid Darkness(looks like retextured snow with the End Portal particles). If Liquid Darkness is touched, it will apply the Wither Effect to the player.
-Light Fanwing: only appears during the day at cloud level or higher. They display particles similar to the Nether Portal's except its white. When touched, will heal the player instantly, as well as apply +speed and +strength potion effects.
-Boulder Fanwing: Appears only on stone in any light level, preferably darkness. Is like Earth; will morph the landscape. It will not create plants and will often pick fights with ogres.
...As well as many other elemental dragons.
-Hatchling: can't breath element/use poison or fly if that particular species can do either. 1/4 the adult's size.
-Drake(male) or Drakka(female): can't fly but can breath element/use poison if that particular species can do either. 1/2 the adult's size.
-Dragon(male) or Dragoness(female): Can fly and and breath element/use poison if that particular species can do either. Adult size.
Elementals can use their abilities at any age.
You can breed certain dragons/use essences on certain dragons to obtain different types of dragons. All of the dragons can lay eggs. Breeding/essence usage can simplify the process.
Dragons can be tamed with their respective prey-meat. You can only get an elemental by breeding/essence usage or by hatching a stolen egg. Two different elementals won't breed with each other; two same elementals can. Two dragons of the same type will always have an egg of their type. Two different dragons breeding together will either have an offspring with a 1/2 chance of being one parent or the other, or if the breeding produces a special dragon, a 1/10 chance of it being the special dragon(configurable with the in game settings). you can also use an incubator to hatch the eggs quicker than letting the parents take care of them. You can speed grow a hatchling by feeding it its respective prey meat. Elementals can't be speed grown (fed until they're mature. You can do this with horses by feeding them wheat).
You can craft armor for your dragon, as well as ride it(assuming it's big enough). Some dragons can carry up to three riders, some can only carry one. It all depends on the dragon. You can use your dragon's special ability, if it has one that is, by pressing "R". If your inventory key it "I", like it was before the more recent updates(I don't remember when it was changed), then the best key for it to be would be "E". If your dragon has more than one special ability, then area effect abilities would be "X" while directional abilities would be "R"(or "E"). If a dragon can support more than one rider, it needs more than one saddle.
More to add to my dragon suggestion list(mostly because I found some really neat pictures that inspired me!) Skeletal Ice Dragon: The result when you give a Frost dragon an Essence of Undead. Picture:
The Quetzalcoatl Dragon: One of the rarest dragons, it lurks in the rainforest at night. It is hostile, but the player can approach it safely if they hold a gold ingot, similar to a Mexican Ampithere. Picture:
http://www.google.co...57&tx=98&ty=106 It cannot be tamed; however, if you give it a gold ingot it will allow you to ride it briefly. It is very hard to kill, but if one manages to do so it will drop a Quetzalcoatl Dragon Horn, which can do heavy damage, and will heal a mob when right clicked upon with it.
Night Dragon: The Night Dragon is the result of giving a European Dragon an Essence of Darkness. The Night Dragon is never opposed by dragons smaller than it, even the proud Dwarf Dragons, and though it loses many European Dragon abilities, such as breathing fire and breeding, Night Dragons gain Elemental Darkness Fanwing's abilities, such as spreading Liquid Darkness, and will spew Liquid Darkness from its mouth, applying the Wither effect to unfortunate victims. Pictures:
Fairy Dragon: The result when you give an Essence of Light to a Hummingdragon. Picture:
http://www.google.co...57&tx=158&ty=47 Fairy Dragons are very kind, and plants will grow around them over time. If you use their special ability while riding them, they will heal the mob you click, and turn stone to grass, and grow plants on the grass. If left in a pen with injured animals, they will go over and heal the animals automatically.
(Red Finned) Nether Dragon: The result when you give a Frost Dragon an Essence of Fire(I was going to have it be a European, but that just seemed redundant). Picture:
http://www.google.co...=48&tx=60&ty=71 Nether Dragons can also be seen in the Nether, obviously, but only rarely. You cannot tame wild ones. They have the abilities of a European and an Elemental Fire Fanwing combined. And they can take down Ghasts quite easily.
And lastly, a ferocious Black BoneEater(called such for obvious reasons): More feared than a European or a Wyvern, Black BoneEaters are massive, heavily built dragons with a voracious appetite and no concern for other dragon's lives. They spawn on mountains, stomping about and snapping at any passerby. Bones lay about them, and when bored they chew on them, hence their name BoneEater. Wild ones cannot be tamed, though they serve as a great creature to attempt to slay. They too hoard, and though not as much as a European, they do hoard the most valuable things. You can collect their eggs and hatch them, if you're lucky. Make sure you have plenty of space for the hatchling though; they love to wander and eat lots of cattle. Picture:
http://www.google.co...8&tx=173&ty=101 Once the hatchling becomes a drake/drakka, you will be able to saddle and ride them. Their heaviness can make it hard to gain altitude, but diving is super fun! Oh, and try not to land it in someone's yard.
I have two more ideas to add to the list! Before I start though, I'd like to tell you, Manimal_ty, that I got Imgur to work, and you can replace the links in the my pictures spoiler with the following images, if at all possible.
Skeletal Ice Dragon:
Red Finned Nether Dragon:
Albino European Dragon:
Frost Dragon Hatchling:
Now for the new ideas...
A large beast resembling a European Dragon in form, this heavily armored creature is known for the fireballs it can create, of which explode on impact creating a fiery doom for those within. Instead of a spread out stream of fire, it concentrates the fire inside its mouth, then releases it in one go. They are greedy creatures, caring more about food than treasure. The hatchlings can be tamed with tons of cooked meat; they detest raw. Though they don't fly very fast, they make great tanks. Their thick, tough scales are lightning resistant, and when killed they drop these scales, of which can be made into fire and lightning resistant armor. They spawn in very rocky areas, such as mountains; they especially enjoy volcanoes.
Another type of the nasty kind, these creatures are known for their BoneEater like habits. Similar to BoneEaters, they are considered a nuisance more than a dragon; they are very fast, and feast upon other dragons in a fashion like that of a Hydra. They always cook their meals first, and they especially like roasting saddled dragons and their riders. Best advice to them is to avoid them; however, you you wish you could try to tame the mischievous beasts. Spawning in the mountains, they will accept a master when given enough treasure. Most dragon riders dislike and/or yield to dragon riders with Thorn Dragons, mostly because their own dragons are bullied by the mounts. Note to dragon tamers; Thorn Dragons hate small spaces. Don't keep them confined forever.
Picture(this is the black variation of a Thorn Dragon):
You have just found yourself a dragon egg! Well done! But now what? Well just take your dragon egg and put it in torchlight it will be about the size of the ender dragon's egg. Coloration will be different depending on the dragon type. Anyways it will take about half an hour to hatch.
Yes your egg has hatched woo-hoo! Your new baby dragon will be about 1 block long and 1 block wide (from head to tail). He will of course look like a smaller version of his adult form. He can not fly yet or use any abilities. He spends most of his time asleep. This stage will last about 2 minecraft days.
Yes your baby dragon has moved on in its life a little and is now a child dragon. Once your dragon reaches this stage it will be about 3 blocks long now and how plump it is will depend on the type of dragon. It can now take flight from time to time but may sometime fall out of the air. It can only go about one block high when flying when it is at this stage. It may now use its most harmless ability. This stage will last about 3 minecraft days.
Yes this pet is only for patient people. You should now be able to tell if your dragon is a male or a female based on slight pattern or coloration differences. Your dragon is now able to fly about 5 blocks above ground and it can begin to let your ride it now you may only ride it up to 4 blocks above ground. Your dragon can now use two abilities. Your dragon is now 5 blocks long and once again how plump it is depends on the type of dragon. This stage will last about 4 and a half minecraft days.
Your dragon is now fully grown! Your dragon can carry you as high as you would like him or her to take you! All abilities are now unlocked and usable and it can now mate with other dragons. Your fully-grown dragon will be about 8 blocks long (It may be slightly longer depending on what type of dragon it is) If it is a water dragon it can now swim quickly. The flight speed has also increased considerably now.
The same size and model of the player, but with horns, claws, wings, tail, spikes, manes, etc.
>Both female and male versions
>One species for each dragon type
>Often found near normal dragons
>Spawns in "packs" of 3-5
>Come in different types that mimic the types of dragons
>Will attack smaller creatures for food (deer, boar, pigs, cows, chickens, things like that)
>Carry around swords (material depends on difficulty level; peaceful=no spawn; easy=wood and stone; normal=wood, stone, gold, iron, possible enchanted; hard=wood, stone, gold, iron, diamond, mo'creatures weapons, possible enchanted (higher chance than normal))
>Peaceful to player unless provoked
>Able to trade with to get dragon eggs?
>Will ride normal dragons the way zombies and skeletons ride the evil horse mobs
Cave dragon: walks on 2 legs, likes to hide in the dark and jump out at you. A little smaller than the player and very skinny and wiry. If attacked, will inflict blindness or nausea on attacker.
>Appear robotic with tron-like circuitry
>Standard western dragon build, only a lot leaner and sleeker. Has revaled wires in the tail, sides and joints in the arms and legs, wires are black
>Color is silver/white/black, with orange (wild) and blue (tamed) circuitry
>Not as big as the standard dragon, about 10-15 feet tall, or 5-6 blocks tall
>Has a seprate layer that glows, similar to the vanilla Spider_eyes and enderman_eyes
>Tamable with redstone, can carry 2 players
>Only attacks if attacked first, or if told to when tamed
>Drops redstone and other redstone-based items (glowstone lamps, redstone blocks, etc) as well as iron ingots
>Looks like a combination of these:
The bird thing obviously
I have a suggestion idea for the pink dragon. Why not make it tameable (in that case, it would heal you when you are attacked and it would eat the mobs that cause a bigger threat).
When you have a tamed dragon of one kind, you don't get attacked by other dragons of that type unless you attack them. The condition to trigger would be being accompanied by the dragon to make it work. But there would be some exceptions.
Dragon growth: A dragon grows continuously during all it's life. The bigger it get, the stronger it is.
Alpha dragon: Bigger dragon. It's stronger and really territorial. Will sometimes fight if he sees a dragon of the same kind that's smaller.
Dragons move and live in groups.
Small size: 3 to 5 dragons, no alpha.
Medium size: 6 to 8 dragons, small alpha.
Big size: 9 to 12 dragons, big alpha.
Taming and cares about dragons:
A dragon must accept you as stronger than him or as older than him. Since you can't be stronger, you need to tame one by making a dragon egg hatch. A dragon needs to be fed meat during the early stages of it's growth until it can fight mobs by itself (around the size of a wolf or adult lion). During the rest of it's life, it will hunt mobs for food. Some types of mobs might cause the dragon to gain diseases, like the zombies. If fed a specific type of toxin a certain number of type, the dragon will gain an immunity (feed him some rotten flesh and it will grow an immunity to poison). Please note that a dragon is an intelligent being, if you harm it daily, it will suddenly turn against you and kill you. You must also keep a small group of dragon, if you only have one tamed dragon, it will grow lonely and eventually die.
Deep caves with piles of riches. You find a big group of dragon, it's likely that there's a lair nearby. Warning, Diamond Gear might not help you survive if you enter the lair, take some treasures and an egg and run. It is likely that your diamond gear will end up in a pile of diamonds. A lair is where the largest groups of dragon lives, make their nests and hide their treasures. There is always a dragon inside the lair, watching over things.
an idea for dragons
the rare dragons should be adults (enderdragon sized) you should have like 1% chance of having them spawning,
the more common that should have 20% chance of spawning should all have their own attacks and when killed they should drop dragons scales depending on the type of dragon. all Armour sets should have their own special abilities like the green Armour set should let you fly for 10 seconds with wings attached to the Armour. the fire ones should give you the ability to breath fire for 4 seconds with a special hotkey etc.
(the more common ones are not adulst but well sorta young adults, between child and adult in)
Say a dragon is guarding a dungeon that is full of Gold and valuables. In order to get in side you need to kill the dragon. When you kill the dragon he will drop a key. You use that key to get inside. Or if you are taming a dragon you present a dragon with a chest that has a certain amount of gold diamonds and Emeralds. If it is enough the dragon will accept your offering. If a dragon is tamed he won't follow you around. Instead when you tame a dragon it will give you a dragon whistle that you can use to call him when you want.
dragons, like wyverns, Skeletal dragons, Sea serpents, cave dragons, regular dragons and lava dragons. regular dragons are found in the overworld, in biomes such as extreme hills, jungles, forests, and grasslands. Cave dragons are found in abandoned mineshafts and caves underground. Sea serpents are found in water and near beaches and bays. Wyverns are like regular dragons, except they attack villages more often. Skeletal dragons can be made after you gather a dragon skeleton. You can place the pieces on the ground, like with blocks. When night comes, they come back. Lava dragons are found in the nether, and can swim in lava. All dragons would be tamable
Variety: There should be a variety of them varying biome to biome. This would promote exploration of the player to go out and hunt / find every type of them.
Tamable: I don't mind having the ability to ride Wyverns (C'mon, we already have pegasus and ostriches xD) but they should be a challenge to obtain. It would be cool if you had to go out and hunt for their eggs and raise the egg instead of just feeding a wild, giant creature that is more then able to eat you whole a stack of steak.
Rarity: Wyverns should be rare, they should be a feared, and their presence should be known. Random, half-burnt trees, shacks, and skulls lying around a certain biome could help indicate if there is one nearby.
Drops: Personally, I think they should drop scales. These scales could be used create wall mounts of their heads. A wall mount could be made out of wood, iron, gold, diamond, etc. and the head of the wyvern (or any animal if walls mounts were universal) could be placed on them. An idea would be to surround a block of wool with the specific scale.
My idea is for have diferent types of dragons,
1: Green Dragon: This dragon is hostile and is the less rare and can fly, it can be found in caves and in his nest, the nest of the green dragon is generate when you create new worlds.
2: Nether Dragon: This dragon is black and have eyes in fire, they live in nether, can swim in lava and can fly.
3: Peaceful Dragon: This dragon is peaceful and can be tamed and mounted, it is brown and can fly .
4: Ice Dragon: This dragon is white is hostile, can fly and live in caves.
I think is nice if the dragons cast potions like witches.
Magma Dragons: Red with golden claws and horns, these dragons are found only at large pools of above ground lava and in the Nether. 4 legs, medium tail length and a pair of large wings. Lots of HP. Eggs can be stolen from nests and will only hatch if placed in lava. Can carry 2 people.
Sea Serpent: Very long with no wings, very fast in water. Carries 2 riders. Eggs will only hatch in water. Only found in ocean biomes and rarely basking on the beach. Blasts high pressure water instead of fire. If equipped with Aqua Saddle you will be able to breath underwater.
mushdragons these dragons spawn in mushroom biome isles (read dragon isles below) they are grey like the colo(u)r of the grey grass in the mushroom biomes and they are covered in mushrooms they are tamable by finding a in a dragons nest see flouting isles and stealing the egg if you do it while the dragons are away from the nest you can steal the egg and get away without angering the dragon. a dragon may lay an egg again if they are not angered by you and you can hatch a baby dragon that can grow up and help you fight
the dragon isles if you make a portal you can travel to the dragon isles a group of islands maybe like 15 islands in it and this will be a place with a lot of dragons and eggs you may find certain eggs in certain areas for example: there may be a netherack area with a nether dragon egg. the portal will be made from the mystical dragonite ore but be careful stealing a mothers egg will auto aggro all nearby dragons so you must do it while the mother is flying around getting food or run from the dragons
there is a tiny tiny chance that a dragon may have come into the over world wrecking havoc on everyone there unlike in the dragon isles these dragons are hostile unlike in the Isles when they only attack when you attack or steal an egg be careful some dragons may destroy your entire minecraft world
chameleon dragons these tiny dragons are so small they can barely fight unless in a group these little guys will blend in with there surroundings and when every they find another chameleon dragon they will join a team and eventually make a horde of them
these are much more common in the over world but you wont always see you unless they are in a group eating you alive
king/queen dragon (it can be either one)
these are obtained by getting an egg of every dragon and 2 dragonian eggs (that has to be hard) and place them on pedestals and a king dragon egg will appear in the center and a king dragon will appear and fight you this will be extremely hard because there will be 2 dragonians riding this dragon and the king/queen dragon has 1 ability from each type of dragon if you think you can kill it bring as many weapons and armor sets you can find and attempt to kill it. But it may be better to take the egg and run away and hope that you don't die (there is a tiny chance that you will live if you run away so don't expect that it would be easy.) and hatch the egg. Then a prince/princess dragon would hatch (it has to grow up to be a king/queen) with 2 dragonian guards these would be friendly to you and ride the dragon with you and help you. Once the dragon grows up it can hold 7, 1 pilot,4 passengers, and the 2 dragonians guards. this could be very fun for a server war, imagine to teams each with a king/queen dragon fighting to the death.
Knights and archers of the kingdoms
Knights and archers of the kingdom would be dragon slayers they are trying to safve the kingdom of the dragon threat but if you are riding one they will try to kill YOU also archers and knights would have pretty good stats so they can actually stand a chance to some dragons
health: 40 hearts (remember dragons are strong)
weaknesses: these guys are horrible at fighting the chameleon dragons (see other suggestion) because they can barely see them also they are weak against frost dragons because their armor freezes after being hit by the cold beam
damage 3-4 hearts
weakness chameleon dragons (again for same reason) the fire dragon lights his bow on fire along with the string and damages it. cave dragon because the arrows don't penetrate rocks
info: the red drake is a neutral mob that spawns with a large cave with a connection to the surface and is very rare (my see one in a world.) The red drake spawns with a large chest containing random materials (iron, gold, diamonds, and redstone.) it will guard said crate with its life. (takes something from the crate and it because hostile put something in the crate and it becomes friendly aka you ride it.) Red drakes do not despawn ever.
damage melee: 2 hearts
damage flame: (same as the ghast hell just use the ghast's fire ball)
death drops: 0-4 [Diamond] 0-1 drake egg (idea bellow)
imunities: fire/ lava/ swords bellow iron
looks: something like the image below only more minecraft like. (dam that sounded retarded)
info: this is dropped from red drakes on death and can be hatched in to a small pet drake that will not despawn and will defend the player if they are near. the player can get the drake to follow them for 2 minecraft days by feeding them redstone other than that they will stay in they area of which they where hatched or last fed.
hatching a pet drake
note: the egg is placed like a block but has a model like an item (same as cake) and can be hatched 2 ways.
info: this way the player places the drakes egg in an area surrounded by lava the egg will hatch in 2 minecraft days this way but the lava might kill the hatchling (stage the drake is in for 3 days after hatch during which it can be killed with almost anything as it only has 1 heart of health.)
info: this way involves keeping the egg in level 9 or up light for 5 minecraft days after which the egg will hatch. during this time though the egg is can be killed by animals as it does not have the lava protecting it.
Raising the dragon.
when the egg hatches you will get the drake hatchling (1x1x1 size drake) it will be very weak and you have to raise it this can be done in 2 ways
health: 2 hearts
damage melee: 1/2 heart
looks: really small version of the adult (same for all stages)
1. feed it coal or grilled pork doing so will cause it to grow after being fed 16 coal or 64 pork it will grow to a young drake ( size of a horse and can be ridden like horse)
2. wait after 10 minecraft days will will grow to a young drake.
young drakes take 4x more time or resources to grow into a tamed drake (adult form)
tamed drake stats
health: 55 hearts
damage melee: 2 hearts
damage ranged: same as ghasts
Training and items
once you have a tamed drake you can train it to do some things like defend an area or to retrieve items in bulk
info: in order to get a drake to become a defending drake you msut give it 2 chest and 2 diamonds after which it will place some where near itself and treat as its horde (lave and netherack will appear near the crate. A defending drake will collect gunpowder and charcoal from its enemies (it burns them to charcoal) gold and iron will also start to appear in the chest (one gold every x days one iron per day). a defending drake will heal itself every night.
info: in order to train a drake to collect item for you. you must give it 2 chests like the defender only don't give it anything to put in the crates. a drake giving just the to chests will fly off to the highest point in its sight and set the chests (will be hard to get to in some cases like floating islands) a collector drake will kill monsters like the defender only it will collect the items other than gunpowder dropped from them.
info: you can give the drakes armor to increase there hp here is the craft.
[Furnace] =iron, gold or diamond
  [Furnace]
[Furnace] [Furnace] [Furnace]
[Furnace] [Furnace]
hp increase guide
iron armor: + 10 hp
gold armor: + 15 hp
diamond armor: + 30 hp
you can not use the same type of saddle for the drakes as the horses (i don't think this part is a good idea but i post it any way) you can not both saddle and armor a drake you can only give them one or the other
craft:(this is high tier armor
[Diamond] [wool] [Diamond]
[wool] [horse saddle] [wool] = one drake saddle
[Diamond] [Diamond]
to heal a drake you need to feed it so here are the feeding stats and how much they heal the drake
raw meat = 2 hearts
cooked meat= 5 hearts
bucket of lava(loses bucket) = full health
rotten flesh (aka when it kills a hostel mob) = 4 hearts
higher this is less likely the drake is to attack you if you attack it you increase this by giving it Diamond or Diamond Block
Diamond increases it by 5
Diamond Block increases it by 50
the dragon will never attack you at loyalty greater than 300
Kinda like a wyvren. They are ether black or white and are very long. They only have 2 front legs and huge wings. The white are female and have a 25% chance of have a baby dragon on their back. When killed they drop the baby :3 these are tamable with raw beef. The black ones are even larger and have two tails. You can give a tamed dragon a essence of darkness to get a black dragon.
I think you should tame one from the egg, Wyverns are somewhat... Deadly right? You could take the egg and place it near a torch, when the baby is born, you can feed him lots of meat (Like 32 or 64 raw meat). When the baby has enough you will see the naming screen, after that the baby can be wrapped at a rope, but not saddled yet, it grows with time, also it takes no fall damage (Like chickens, they flap their wings to fall slowly, they can't fly yet though), the baby hunts small animals like rats, mice or even bunnies and chickens, as it grows bigger it hunts bigger prey, like pigs and other animals, when it is pretty grown up, it attacks other mobs if the player attacks them (Similar to vanilla wolves), when they get fully grown and adult, they learn to fly fully, and can be saddled.
Now lets put the stats:
Dont forget that each HP is half a heart, and not a fully one
Special Abilities: Falls slower to evade fall damage
Special Abilities: Falls slower to evade fall damage, Attacks the player target similar to a wolf
Fully-Grown Stage (Adult)
Special Abilities: Falls slower to evade fall damage, Attacks the player target similar to a wolf, Can be saddled and riden, Can fly
Perhaps you could feed it a dye to give some sort of recoloration, but unlike to fairy horses, they could be recolorated over and over
Spawns: Only the fully grown Wyvern spawns, can spawn near cave entrances, and sometimes, inside them if they have enough space, also can spawn in Ravines, very agressive, and can spot a player in a 128 block radius, it is very protective over the their eggs, and usually, they stay close to the egg, they are always alone, and can attack other Wyverns if they come too close to the egg (That if you have the luck to find two Wyverns), only one egg by Wyvern, otherwise they could be common, it is still possible to find a baby or half grown Wyvern if an egg hatches naturally, but they are not tameable.
Also, they need a frightening sound, that can be heard from a great distance, like 64 blocks
That's it, took me some time to think in everything, i hope you guys liked it! =D
Hydra, A giant black scary water snake with 3 heads can come up on land for 5 minutes at a time (minecraft time ¼ of a day) at night it can stay on land until dawn. When it lose a head two more replace it, hydra can have up to nine heads. When a player cut off a head he has to attack the stub with a torch to keep two new heads form growing. The Hydra just like in the myth has poisonous gas breath (some dragon have poisonous gas breathe like the nidhogg) . When all the heads are gone it dies leave a hydra egg. The player can ride a tamed hydra. A Hydra eats squid, cow, pig, fish, deer, horse, shark, dolphins and chickens.
I think larger dragons should be able to brake blocks when they land or if they hit something with there tail; as well as lightly push mobs and the player wile flying overhead. I also think dragons breath attack should be random so that even cave dragons can can send out streams of fire down tunnels or ice dragons spraying toxic fumes; however I do think that it should be more common to see a dragon with there own breath attack rather then another's one. This "random breath" feature would make fighting a dragon harder prepare for and it would also allow players to tame a dragon of there desired model and breath. Another "random" aspect could be there sizes with there being several sizes (smallest:bit larger then a horse / small: around the size of a Asian Elephant / medium: size of mammoth / Large: around two blocks taller then mammoth / Largest: double the size of a mammoth) The larger dragons would have more health attack and destructive power, wile smaller dragons would be faster and would mostly attack from in the air if possible. There would also be an option to turn off the different sizes, like if a player only wanted huge dragons to spawn in or if he only wanted the smallest size for mounts.
Let's stay classic, 4 elements 4 dragons.
water : snake-like, big, fast in water, slow on earth (pig speed at most), can carry 2 players and 2 chests. Yes, it's that big.
Attack : "raming-in-stuff". It's when it's raming in stuff. Only doable under water.
Hp : 80
Special equipment : serpent armor which is really just a blue saddle. When equiped, allow the rider(s) to breath under water.
Can be found in ocean biomes and rivers.
Earth : Bulky. Picture it as a big lizard with big armored scales. Something like an ankylosaurus with a triceratops head. Without the tail-mace.
Can carry 2 chests (can you make it 4 chests? Please?), but only one player.
Attack : earth breath. Stun every mob in front of it, and destroy a 3x3x3 cube of blocks, also in front of it (everything except bedrock, obsidian and flowers). 2/3 of the blocks are destroyed.
Hp : 120, natural armor (reduce dmg by 1)
Special equipment : Komodo armor, reduce dmg by 2 more. On the dragon AND the player.
Can be found in plain and swamp biomes. They are quite common compared to other dragons.
Fire : European dragon (4 legs, 2 wings). Can breath fire, fly, breath fire, quite fast on ground.
Attack : Fire breath. Set wood on fire, turn stone into lava, makes dirt disapear into oblivion (not the elder scroll game).
Hp : 60, immune to fire, burning with passion and immune to bad fire-themed puns
Special equipement : flaming armor, give the player the ability to not die when diving into lava with his dragon. Also set a trail of fire when on the ground.
Can be found in deserts
Air : Asian style. Fast flyer. Really fast.
Attack : No attack. The best battles are the one you dont fight. So run. Or fly. Reaaaally fast. Also it can grab mobs and players for a short period of time, just enough to go over the edge of the nearest pit.
Hp : 40, immune to arrows.
Special equipment : wind claws. Allow the dragon to stand on vertical surfaces. Or if not doable, allow the dragon to grab monsters without taking damages.
Can be found atop mountains. Rarely. Almost never.
And there we have our four drakes.
Lets make two more, just for the fun of it : light and dark. Just because.
Light : Golden-white feathered snake. Can fly.
Attack : laserbeam. It's a laser. Burn creatures. More efficient at night.
Hp : 100. takes half of any kind of physical damage (meaning not lava or fire or drowning) but only during the day.
Special equipment : Sun armor. Is shiny. Also reduce physical damages by another 50%, making it 75% damage reduction. Also only during daylight.
Spawn in snow biomes, then fly away everywhere. Or just spawn everywhere. Anyway, it's ultra rare.
Dark : European dragon, without the wings. Can not fly, but is really fast at running.
Attack : Void zone. Paralyze everything in a 5 blocks radius, centered on the drake. 8 blocks during daylight.
Hp : 70, reduced damages against fire.
Special equipment : Dark armor. Is not shiny. Also increase the area of void zone to 10 blocks. 16 during daylight.
Can be found in the nether. Not as ultra rare as his light cousin, so lets call it super rare.
All there dragons have nests. Steal an egg from the nest, be there when it hatchs and you got yourself a tamed dragon.
Every dragon will stay close to it's nest.
Try to steal an egg when the dragon is too close, and it will attack you. Or throw you down his mountain in case of an air dragon.
Being sneaky reduces the distance at which the dragon can detect you.
Now every dragon has a special way to hatch :
Water : put the egg on sand, in a deep water pond. 5 blocks deep at least.
Earth : on dirt, water source 2 blocks away max.
Air : above level 100, on stone, under the sky.
Fire : put the egg on a block of anything in the middle of a lava pool.
Light : on sand, light level above 12.
Dark : total darkness. Light level 0.
Every egg takes 2 minecraft days to hatch, every newborn will eat away other eggs.
Also, I repeat : you have to be there when it hatches, around 10 blocks away max.
Well, im going to make a sugggestion, Imagine that there is a boss dragon (like the two i suggested before) it would be awesome,Right? well thats not the point, how awesome the gameplay of a dragon boss would be?, what difficulty it could have? well, thats easy, i always loved another mod called ethernal craft (made by iron fists) and well, the best thing of that mod are the bosses gameplay, i could never play it because its on 1.2.5, the mod is not dead of course, but the bosses are epic, and i think dr zhark can do something like that, they are really awesome, if you ask me i could give you a link to the thread, and there is another suggestion about a beard or something (forgot what it was) that you can use to call your dragon (from another person), the gold dragon suggestion that says the gold dragon could search for valuable ores when tamed, i think its not very good, because it makes minecraft very easy, and it would be cheating too, i think there shouldnt be the best dragon out there, instead, there should be diferent dragons with their ups and downs, and you can choose what dragon is the best for you, but i highly recomend the boss dragons ideas, they are very good, oh, and yeah, i think getting a dragon should be a challenge, i really like the hydra dragons, and the sea dragons too, oh, and i would really really like the dragons that i suggested to be added, really, i love them!,also very nice ideas!.Oh, i almost forgot, there shpuld be a ghost dragon, appears at night, really really rare, attacks with blue fire balls and with its claws, can fly and can summon wraiths, also, if you kill it you dont get its egg, you get an essence that could be used on another dragon, the air dragon should be on the sky and it should be assian style, it could be found on a cloud or something like that, Also, the two dragons that i suggested are from a game called the last story, so, their name should be changed to avoid copyright issues, their names are Mitra (the white and blue one) and Atar (the black and red one) they are called sentinel beasts (i think that name could be used) they are the same dragon but with a diferent color and abilities, they have an strange sound, you have to beat them both on diferent places, the red and black should be on the nether, flying above a fortress, and the white and blue one should be in the overworld, above an altar, but remember that you have to summon them to fight them, so, they could be anywhere, but if you choose that they should be summoned, you should find an altar to summon them, they have two diferent books, the way the books should be obtained is up to you dr.zhark, to get them you have to beat them first, they dont hatch from an egg, they are obtained inside an amulet when beaten, and if an enemy kills them, they dissapear and you have to fight them again, they have powerful attacks, the white and blue one throws lightings, blue gigantic beams, blue energy balls, and it can attack you with its claws and he can bite you, he flies very frecuently, the black and red one throws you energy bullets, a gigantic-red beam, and he doesnt fly very frecuently, it can tackle you too, they have LOTS of health, and their mounts are made using diferent dragon scales, thanks for reading this
dragons are known for their treasure they keep. So The dragon grows in periods of years and the treasure to.
a full dragon should be 5 years (do it like 5 minecraft days.) and has a treasure of 50 gold bars and 10 diamonds. A dragon of age 15 should then hold a treasure of 150 gold and 20 diamonds. And so on. from the age of 25 dragons hold eggs. if not discovered by the player within 2 years the dragon will hatch, grow and go to make it own nest and gather its own treasure. The dragon dies at an age of 100-250 (except for tamed dragons). A dragon that dies lies on its stucmack and sleeps 8/10 of the day.to finally take a crutial hit that kills them and drops an Dragon Heart. A magical gem that completes the treasure of the dragon. If a player finds that gem it can be used for a weapon that can make the user fly and it is used to enpower some potions and essences.A dragon is half neutral as in the dragon will only attack if provoket or you enter to deep into its lair.
All dragonheart types has their own specialities for enchanting potions and armour and other things.
It would be cool when the Wyverns attacks other Players like Dogs if someone attacks you or if you attack someone..
So you can Ride them and if you fight the dragon can attack at the same time,
Another Thing is about how Strong the Dragons are. To this time it is so they grow up if you had an egg and will coming Adult so we can ride them. But if they have at the beginning a faster grow up like now and later a slower so they don't stop growing. And at the same time the dragons should getting stronger while they grow up.. like:
... And every Stadium + 0.1 you can make it unstoppabel
This is a real Level System and very complicated so it is a very long work to do this. Moreover you can make it with the Life of the Dragons at the same time going up. And when they growing up at Stadium 100 more and more.. they got real dragons with a Power no Player can stop alone. Another Option for Player, who don't like this is to stop it in the Configuration that after Level 10 or something like is it stops and the Dragons won't grow up anymore.
Or if there come new Dragon Types with Different Special skills they can Learn with the time stronger and better skills
..Thanks for Reading and thanks for this amazing Mod! Sorry for Errors .. I'm German.
I had this idea of having a boss dragon sort of like the dragon in the End, but it'd be a tame-able dragon. He'd be the Wind Dragon, and look like a sea serpent-type of dragon, but be white with blue or teal accents and white whiskers. He wouldn't have wings, and only four legs. He would fly above cloud level and only appear once you create a structure that has at least a 16X16 block surface above cloud level. The dragon would then fly around that surface without landing on it, and you would have to defeat it in order to get its egg. You would be able to defeat it in a similar fashion to the Ender Dragon. There is only one wind dragon.
Once you have the egg, you would only be able to hatch it above cloud level. With the dragon mounts mod, you have to put the egg in lava, so going off of that idea, this egg would have to be surrounded by diamond blocks (so four, I'll make a diagram) and it would have to be immersed in water. Here's the diagram:
[D] [E] [D]
This is looking down at the diagram from above. The water would be in the same square that the egg is. Once the dragon has hatched, it takes [five] Minecraft days to grow into an adult. (This time frame can be determined by Dr Zhark.) This dragon is ride-able like the mammoths!
Riding the dragon:
In order to ride the dragon, you have to craft a rider's helmet and feed the dragon [one] diamond. The riders helmet will look sort of like a crown with the diamond coming out of the top. I guess a tiara might be a better description, but not so glitsy.
Here's the recipe:
[G] [D] [G]
Yes, this is an expensive dragon, but there's a reason. This dragon can carry as many players as it can hold. If Dr Zhark creates this dragon to have a body length (the amount of blocks between the front feet and the back feet) to be six, then the dragon can carry six players. He will only need to be fed a diamond ONCE! When that happens, the rider's helmet will be connected to that dragon and to the person who fed the dragon the diamond. That is the only person who can wear the rider's helmet AND ride the dragon alone. Other people can wear the helmet, but they cannot ride the dragon. If the helmet is destroyed, then the player loses his/her connection to the dragon, and the dragon must be fed another diamond.
Players who do not "own" the dragon but want to ride must also have an item. They must each have one Dragon Scale. The dragon scale is received by feeding the Wind Dragon one unicorn horn. Each player that feeds the dragon a unicorn horn will receive ONE dragon scale. If they lose the scale, they must feed the dragon another unicorn horn.
The dragon scale will look like the diamond's picture, but it will have a scaled texture instead of the diamond cut lines, and it will be the shade of white that the dragon is.
The dragon one step faster than the black pegasus horse from Mo' Creatures. His flying mechanisms do not include wings, so instead his body moves up and down.
The Red Dragon
The Red Dragon flies around a volcano guarding an egg with melee and ranged attacks (fire breathing). The egg is smaller than the Enderdragon's egg and The Red Dragon is a little bit smaller than the Enderdragon. If you manage to kill the Red Dragon and obtain the egg inside the volcano (which you will have to parkour to), you can hatch by placing a redstone torch by it and waiting.
After the egg hatches, you will obtain a baby Red Dragon which you can then ride at full growth. The Red Dragon will be quite bigger than wyverns, you can also make the Red Dragon breathe fire by right clicking while riding, although you must have an essence of fire in your inventory.
Mabye you should make a gigantic Hongarian Horntail style Dragon that breaths fire, wacks you with a spiked tail, and bites you with poisonous fangs.
Meaning, it has a few attacks: 1 It will breath fire which comes out in a straight-ish line. Though fire breathing doesn't do impact damge, it will lite you and blocks around you on fire. 2 This dragon has a huge spiked tail which it can wack you with, doing 5 hearts (10 HP) of damage, as well as doing great amounts of knockback to the victim. 3 This dragon has poison fangs, so if it bites you it does 3 hearts (6 HP) and gives you poison for about 30 sec.
I have no idea what to name this thing, and its drop would be a egg, which when hatched will produce a baby which is unridable do to spikes on its back, but will follow you and PWN all mobs that you attack or attack you.
P.S. It could either spawn in the nether, or in the mountains, your choice.
Hey so i would really like to have these added to the game. I consider these to be baby dragons.
I would really like them to be added, even if they arent baby dragons. You could ride them, or not
whichever you like, and you can choose how big you want them. Their like a dragon with 2 wings and no feet, like a flying snake
I think that it is awesome that Wyverns are now implemented into the game, though I have a few suggestions for more features. The first thing I noticed when I rode my Wyvern mount was that it was very slow horizontally. I feel that the mounts could be around twice as fast as they are horizontally (by which I mean the Wyverns are fine with the up and down speeds). My second suggestion would be to add a second type of Wyvern that is rarer than the other ones in the dimension. The new Wyvern would be predatory to the other Wyverns, and larger than even the Ender Dragon. It would be tamable by giving it the eggs of other Wyverns. My third suggestion is that the Wyvern portal allows any creature on it while the player activates the staff to be transported to the Wyvern Lair as well as the player. Finally, my last suggestion is that the Wyverns (and possibly other tamed creatures) would follow you without a rope. It can be annoying to try to remember to rope up the creatures.
These are the ones i have found in this forum and the official Mo' Creatures Mob Suggestion Thread. If yours isn't here, or you have one here and you want to update it/change it, just say so and i will do so. Thanks!
SHOUT-OUT TO DR. ZHARK!!!!! For making an awesome mod!
This isn't half bad! I hope you and Mythra will start working together on these threads, because then it will be easier for him/her to manage dragon suggestions.
As for my ideas on dragons, I'd better start typing! I have so many...

Ok.
