There are several videos and tutorials on Youtube, and I follow them precisely, but ModLoader DOES NOT WORK on my Mac. I run MC 1.2.5 on a 2005 iMac (running 10.7.4) and it never works. Texture packs work fine with MCPatcher, but that's it. Any help?
I have the same question as you I have a 2011 Imac and I used to be able to run mod loader during 1.8.1 and 1.0.0 but never in 1.2.5 I couldn't find anything
You're doing something wrong. There really shouldn't be a problem with ModLoader regardless of computer stuff. Make sure you've dragged all of the modloader files into an archive utility-opened minecraft.jar folder.

Well if your using McPatcher is has a way to put the mods inside the .jar file for you. All you have to do it hit "add" near the bottom and find the mod that you want to put on your mine craft and it will do all the work for you.

And yeah all you have to do is force update it.
