I'm curious if there's a way to control what biomes are present in your world.
For example, if I'm making a map in MCedit. Starting with a blank world and creating everything myself, what determines the biomes? Is it going to rely on the seed?
I want to make a desert map for instance, but I don't want it to end up snowing/raining there. Is there any program or editor I can use to control the biomes in my map, so my man made desert isn't in a snow biome by accident?
Deserts automatically don't rain, so you cool, man. You cool.
I might not have explained well enough. The desert is going to be completely man made, using MCedit or perhaps Worldpainter. So the location of it may intersect with another biome that's determined by the seed. It's going to be massive.
So I want a way to remove. or change the biome it's in (after it's built) so I don't end up with a snowy/rainy desert. Does that make sense?
(It's like you trying to change a pine forest in your SSP world into a desert by placing sand everywhere. It will still snow however.)
