I have downloaded the latest version and still get invalid username. I ended up giving up and switching back to craftOS for now. Still would also like to know where to put the lotus folder. Maybe some detailed install instructions or even a video would be helpful. I understand that this is a very new mod that you are all working to improve so please take your time. I'll use craftOS until things start to work with less issues.

Doesn't work. In fact, I think you should actually let us code the username and password, or do both but let us make the username or password using a program, and not at the very start.

I'd never ask people to describe their "sexy caverns." Especially not when the forum was not pornographic in nature. "Explore her sexy cavern" is a spam email title.
It worked.. And yes, Vertex would do that, I know him. So go hate on him lol.

Hmm to solve the username problem you need to have a thing so when you first start a computer it asks you to create an account so it's easier for the people using it. i have some ideas on how to achieve this. im not sure if it'll work 100%
Edit: i realised a guy posted about this at the top.
anyways my method i was thinking is when the os is first started it prompts you for a ussername and it saves it to a file, next time when it's booted up it checks if the file is there in that folder (computer folder) and if it is it asks for the username etc im not sure if this will 100% work

In the making :smile.gif: for now next update ill try to convince the others to remove login startup till that comes into fruition.
EDIT: infact - theres security in RedWorks for a significant reason which i wont go into detail right now. Stand by for information.
Let me guess, lua virus protection and internet protection.

We have moved to another post.
Thanks for using RedWorks :biggrin.gif:.
It's ok. You install ComputerCraft and then install this over it (This only modifies some files, not all). Thank you for using RedWorksOS.
Edit- hooray I was able to download it! Where would I put the lotus folder if I wanted to use it? Just in the main computercraft folder?
Edit- and now im held up in enjoying this due to username failure. I put username as the username, and it says invalid. So i'm pretty much stuck.
download the latest version...
username: username
password: letmein
Definitely works
Sorry man
username: username
password: letmein
this will definitley let you in
Doesnt work for me
the username is still invalid
its case sensitive, im looking at the source right now and its there.
When it ask for username: username
then it ask for password: letmein
