My first thought was, "what if camels spawned in deserts?" now we all know that wolves only spawn in forests so this makes some sense. what if we add penguins & polar bears to snowy areas, parrots and tigers to rainforests, crocodiles & snakes to swamps, and so on and so forth!
OH! and the farm animals (pigs, cows, sheep, chickens) should only spawn in farms in NPC villages.
Another idea i had was to create naturally spawning under water biomes; such as reefs, trenches, and vents. then have corresponding creatures to those areas.
Basicaly what I'm saying is, more biomes, more biome detail, and placing the correct animals in each biome! we need safari grasslands with zebras damnit!
you mispelled Camels (written cammels), parrots (written parots), naturally (written naturaly) and reef trenches (written reefs trenches). Other than that, great idea!
Just kidding, I'd love more mobs, but there are mods you can install to get all this.
Such as:
More Creeps and Weirdos
Coral Reef Mod
Mo' Creatures
and a lot more.
I think that'd be a bit too many creatures. But I like your idea. Like, if forexample Jeb made deserts harder to walk on. If the hot sand would hurt your feet or you walked slower in sand, and you could tame camels and use them to walk through the sand easier. I also really like the underwater idea. They should add pockets of air in underwater caves. That would be awesome :smile.gif:

I know.... but none of them work within biomes....
and i havent seen any parrots :dry.gif:
God damn it notch/mojang! y u so lazy?! like i know this wouldn't be that hard to code, just look at mo creatures! but notch/mojang is soooo ****ing lazy they need to look at the terarria makers, if they worked on minecraft it would be way better imo. I mean i love minecraft as is but it would prolly be better if they dev'ed it, then again they might use ****ing c# or what ever the **** they stupidly coded terraria with, if they would have used something that worked with mac, they would have made waaaay more money! >_> uuuugh i hate having a mac so bloody much! btw i like grapes :3
OH and btw... again! End rant :tongue.gif:
[EDIT] another thing too, if someone makes a banner for this i would gladly use it, because really there is way to little animals in this game, i mean come on only six in a game where its technically earth? :\

Wait a second... do you possibly think its impossible to mod on a mac. I'm making a huge mod atm. To use it prepare your mcp50 folder and put in everything you need. Then open up terminal and type in "cd(space)" and drag mcp50 folder onto it
Click enter and type in "bash (filename).sh"
TADA

uhm what? i didn't say anything about mods/modding and mac, i said how stupid it was that its nearly impossible for the devs of terarria to make it for mac, and they would make tons more moneys, but instead people who prolly arnt even prof. coders can make an easy wrapper that isnt even that buggy.
P.S. sorry Op if this off topic talk is anoyying :Ω
