Hello everyone. I am very sorry if this has already been asked, but are there any other ways to convert .java to .class ? I've looked it up, but i'm only getting downloadable programs to do so and programs that convert .class to .java . I am not using MCP for coding, however I am using a website to make mods without actually coding to help me learn. I would like to know if there are any reliable and SAFE websites to convert the files. Thanks!
EDIT: Thanks everyone for your help! MCP is the only safe and reliable way I guess. :wink.gif:
Well, MCP is the only way I know how to compile your mods. Using the normal javac doesn't work becuase it looks for a main class which is not used in any mods (its not even in the same folder).

That just simply isn't possible, nor the way things work around here :tongue.gif:
.java to .class conversion that you're talking about is called compiling. That is, you're converting human-readable java code into computer code. You simply cannot skip or skim on that and there'll never be a "service" to do this for you; its something you're supposed to do yourself!
And so is learning to code. You just can't make mods without learning to code. That's boring and won't teach you anything. :tongue.gif: Hope this helps!
Thanks. I'm using that website to help me get a feel for coding so I can start doing it myself. I am ABSOLUTELY new to this, so therefore I'm using that website as a guide. Once I get the hang of it, I'll try coding. I do agree, it is very boring not doing the actual coding. But, I am just experimenting and seeing how everything works. Thank you very very much for your help. :wink.gif:

Okay, thanks!
Ok! I guess I'm using MCP then :smile.gif:
