Today, I Tried to mod minecraft with the Too many Items mod. I watched a couple videos on how to install it and when it said to run minecraft. I went to the minecraft website clicked "In Browser" then it siad dont loading and a black screen popped up.
Please Help!

You can't use mods in the browser version of MC. You must use the client.

You tried to play in browser? Mods will only run on downloaded client.

Just do it on the program when ever you mess with the minecraft.jar the browser type does not work because it uses internet files too which makes a coding conflict and results in failure. :biggrin.gif:

But if you want to fix this what you do is on the client before you log in there will be an options thing what you do is FORCE UPDATE and then log in.

backup your saves and reinstall minecraft

Kind of a stupid question but how do I force update my game?
