Minecraft: one of the greatest PC games of all time, the brainchild of the genius Markuss Persson, a.k.a Notch. But Notch is one man. One man with a dream, yes. But one man nonetheless. So, programmers and noobs alike joined forces to create enhancements to the game: mods. Mods have come a long way, with many categories and subcategories of them. Now we are at a crucial point in the history and making of mods. I am here talking to you today about the possible death of MinecraftForge.
For those of you who are like me and are noobs when it comes to modding, Minecraft Forge is a file modifier that modders use to mod Minecraft. Unfortunately, their are many other basefile modifiers out their. Smaller, lesser known ones, mostly. But when modders start using these programs instead of MinecraftForge, then problems will occur between users
.
Now, why root for MinecraftForge instead of any other program? Well, as MinecraftForge is already highly developed, it would be like trying to make a program to rival Risugami's modloader. Now are you seeing why MinecraftForge must stay?
I think it would also be helpful to name some of the problems that would come about if MinecraftForge dies. If every modder used a different program, it would be hard to communicate to another modder how the mod works if they mod a different way. More incompatibilities between mods would come up too. It's just easier if there was one program everyone was using.
So now you know the facts. It's time to start the revolution!!! If you're with me, vote yes on the poll above!!!
Note: I do know about the multiple features of MinecraftForge, and how it's more than just a Minecraft file modifier. For more information on the revolution, go to http://www.industrial-craft.net/.
MinecraftForge is a multi-functional program that can be used by modders to create mods, and is required by some mods (not necessarily even the ones that were programmed with it) to work, kinda like Modloader. It's better used for modding

That's right, support the cause!

where can i find minecraft forge
Because it's not necessarily required, modloader is often used as a substitution.

wow pwnage m8
Yeah, but what we have to do is have everyone use MinecraftForge, so that it becomes the universal modding tool.
