I've been messing around, trying to get AA working in Minecraft. It seems like the vast majority of users get purple grid lines on the edges of all of their blocks, but a few people have mentioned they got it working flawlessly, particularly on older graphics cards.
I also recently got an HD 6950 to replace my aging GTX260 C216. It's a nice big jump, but the fan is noisier at load.
Both the 6950 and the gtx260 get purple grid lines (and don't even appear to antialias), but I was hoping the MAA (Morphological Antialiasing) would help me out. Even though it is a supposedly postprocessing form of antialiasing, it had no effect on Minecraft whatsoever. The launcher (and Firefox) on the other hand... Let's just say MAA makes it completely impossible to read text, and it acts all weird and resets every now and then.
Has anyone found a configuration that actually works, with a description of how they set up their ****?
A guide to doing this on Catalyst Control Center would be super epic. Thanks in advance.
