Screenshots (20 or so) are on that thread as well.
If you want more info PM me and i will edit this.
Already have you. Make sure if you have updates to message me to update you but do realize theres a link so unless your updating from v2.4 to v2.5 its not going to matter because the link will still link to the same place.
Yeah I will just next time mail me? I plan to collect contacts so when 1.6 comes out I can mail out a big thing so modders can get me their updates asap!

I'm done putting up mod's for the day Hell I did about 150 today so be happy! :smile.gif: I nearly finished the page the way I want it any suggestions should be posted here! ^^ Happy Modding!
Thank the gods for your arrival! I've been waiting for someone serious to come along again and you appear to be doing a great job. Keep up the good work.
Something always occurs to me when a mod shop comes up though: Why do I have to go through the list of mods to find the things that are required? I was always of the opinion that if I were to make this list(If I ever had time to that is) that I would put a 'Required for Many of These Mods' section at the top and stick direct links to Modloader, GUIAPI, AudioMod, etc so that people wouldn't have to go digging.
I don't know if it would be an appearance of favoritism -- "Why isn't [X useful tool that isn't used by a lot of people] on that list!?" -- or the inability to include a list of what I refer to as Tool Mods(Being that they lack a direct, game-modifying function on their own but enable other mods to work), that wont be compatible with each other or not simply compatible anyway.
Just wondering what your input on this topic is and, again, thank you.
Can you call this [1.5_01] Mod Shop - Nearly 250 Mods in Stock? Then, when 1.6.* comes out, you can retire this thread, and start the [1.6_01] Mod Shop - Witty Tagline Here. That way you don't have to state which version your thread supports outside of the topic.

No, I think you make a valid point... hmmmm I don't think I'll do direct links but a link to the forum, I can't link them to the download because I think one of the points of the one stop mod shop is to force people to see what else the people have to offer/be completely ignorant if a mod doesn't work/link is broken. I think what i'll do is I'll gather the "required" mods together and place them at the top. Than I'll keep the "Req X" near the mod's so people know they have to download that mod still. Some redundancies are good I think. (As some people don't read -.-) Thanks for the idea!
As for me being serious, I like minecraft A lot but the mods are my favorite thing to look at. I've looked at a lot of mods in the past and just to day I've looked at 150. Yesterday nearly 100. So taking that into account I've seen a lot of mods I like and some I don't really like. But still I love to see what people come up with! And I think i have some good ideas of my own I just can't program them nor do I have the patients to try. So I thought, why not organize them? Than I can get a good idea of what mods around around so I can better request mods! I'm also thinking of helping some people starting get some unique mods that are less redundant. Instead of another Redstone mod why not add Tantium(sp?)? You could make a Tantium boat that wont melt in lava and/or use it to do something with redstone as it is used in electronics! Anyways I've been considering what I could actually do with the mod shop all in due time.

I'll rename it at the top and keep the same thread. From time to time I'll delete posts and when a new update comes i'll archive the 1.5. Reason why is that if and when they sticky this I don't want them to have to UNsticky it and REsticky the next. Thanks for the idea though! :smile.gif:

What I would do is once the new update comes out, copy and paste all of the 1.5 mods into a google docs document and link it as an 'archive'

With your reply I just realized that I didn't articulate my point correctly.
I should have said "...stick direct links to the specific section of the threads for Modloader...". My bad. In my head that's what I meant but is translated differently outside of my head.
Redundancy is always good. Your method for identifying mods that are needed for somethings is still good it's just that them being at top would be optimal and I had just never seen anyone suggest it.
Thanks for the swift reply and keep on keepin' on.

Not a bad Idea at all! I'll look into it! :smile.gif:

Shouldn't this be in moddding discussion or something?
This section is for people releasing their own mods, not a link to all of them -.-
Yes, it should except for the fact its now here and I can't move it. :tongue.gif:...

I don't know. I think a 'one stop mod shop' thread should be in the released mod section, but it should be stickied. I feel like modding discussion is for getting help with developing a mod and such. Maybe the best course of action would have been to make it over there and ask it to be moved/stuck-ified.
There should be an alphabetical list of all topics or some for of synch-list somewhere anyway...
Curse should add some form of modlist/upvote/downvote section- I hate bumping my own mod(s), but I feel like if I don't it gets totally lost. My solution is to keep updating it and bumping it with an update-post :tongue.gif:
A collection of awesome mods, all rated and sorted? What's there not to love about this? :biggrin.gif: Especially now that it has my mods... *winkwinknudgenudge*
Oh, and imo this belongs here, in the released mods section, since this is where people come to find mods.

Thanks I would really appreciate it :biggrin.gif:
