Yeah, like Mr.Grau said, maybe once it picks up the maximum number of block in its pickup area, it cannot pickup anymore. That way when you and your fortress are flying by a mountain, you don't rip half the mountain away with you. It would keep it from being overpowered. Also, please make an official list of people for beta testing and I politely request to be a beta tester. Whenever you get around to searching beta testers, always keep me in mind.

I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!
Im going to randomly select beta testers from anyone who posts here. Post counts in this thread mean nothing, btw. I like the idea, but then, if you wanted to add a wall or something, how would you?
Question:
So say you have blocks that are being lifted by the control block, but there are blocks ontop of that. What would happen if you move up or down. Say they are cobble and you move down, will they stay with the structure or float there?
Wow, great job so far. I actually thought of this type of mod a few months back, but I have no modding ability, and was too lazy to make a suggestion or request thread. So, good job to you sir, and good initiative. As a donation, here is :DBlock:x64

And when Thomas went to heaven, to Notch did he fair tell; "Another sheep reporting in sir,I have served my time in hell."
Why not have the block have a "locked" feature that when locked any new blocks in its radius will not be moved(except for the ones already there) , and a "unlocked" state in which it will add the new blocks and move them? Not the most thought out idea but you get it? Sorry I'm a bit tired right now. (Note i don't know anything about JAVA coding)

If I understand everything I've read in this topic correctly, then all the blocks should remain where they are once the Control Block/Repeater Block has been removed. And if that is correct, then you would be able to add more blocks to your structure, and then replace the Control Block/Repeater Block.
Once again, no Java, Coding, or Microwaves.
EDIT: Everything except blocks that obey gravity, should stay where they are. (But the blocks that obey gravity, wouldn't be floating in the first place, would they?)

mmmhmmm Thank you for showing us pictures. This proves that big pirate ships can be made into a mod. Because if you can find a way to make a chunk of dirt fly. Why can't someone get a chunk of wood to move? Good work.
Wow... Its been about an hour, and theirs already 201 people who showed support for my mod. Hell Yea! Glad to know I get that many supporters. For ONE MOD! And its not even released!
