WTF??? Sorry about that, but recently I was playing minecraft with plenty of mods installed. It was working fine and all of a sudden crashed wen I tried to load a world. Luckily I had a backup from the other day, so I loaded it up. Still crashed. So I tried it with a completely clean .minecraft folder. Again I can't load any world without it crashing. I have tried every variation of .minecraft folders possible. That isn't my problem. Minecraft won't work for me! I'm pretty sure it had something to do with mods but now I'm not sure. Does anybody else have this problem? I am ssooo confused. Please help me out. Keep in mind I had changed nothing when it crashed the first time. Please please please please help me out. I have no life and will go insane without minecraft. Please
Please guys. I'm not some random kid who has no clue what's happening. I've been doing this stuff for months with success and have never had a problem till now. Please
Hmm I re downloaded Java and it didn't work. I also have done all that you have said before SAG ad none of that has worked... sigh. Well I will keep trying. Thanks. PS: I run a mac (unfortunately) so if that helps I appreciate it.

Well...something is seriously wrong.. can you give us some more information like does an error screen come up saying "Minecraft has crashed", does it just give you a black screen? does it open then crash to desktop? Any information what so ever could help others help you. Hopefully it works...ive never used a mac though so i have no idea what could be wrong
It opens normally and I can go to the start screen like always. Whenever I try to generate a new world or when I click the join server button it sits there for a while then crashes to desktop.

Protip: You don't need to bump your topic every few hours. If someone has a solution they'll post it, and if they don't then they won't.
I don't know what to tell you for the error! Maybe create a simple shell script [can OSX run bash scripts?] for running the game with something like a "pause" command at the end, then copy-paste the error report here in (code) tags so we can get some hints?
It cant be a mod problem if hes using a fresh minecraft folder..
Try not using your sign in, and then click log in. It should ask you to play offline. Try doing that.(you have to login at least once for this to work)
If this doesnt work try closing all programs and what not so that your computer can focus entirely on minecraft
Or
Delete the .minecraft folder run minecraft.exe and update giving you a fresh one
Or
Download new minecraft.exe from minecraft . net and then retry previous steps^
Or(but i doubt it)
Delete the meta-inf folder located in the minecraft.jar(the one in the bin folder)
These are what i would do
