I am soooo tired of telling people to read at least some af the posts before they post stupid questions... if you know its been asked before, read the damn post so you can find your damn answer! On the very page before the one you posted on, its been stated, by shocka no less, that they have a HUGE BUG that makes the game unplayable. And that they are not releasing it before they are done with the content they have lined up in the OP..

No, that just makes people laugh at you, as reading the FAQ does not answer his question, at all - basically, the only thing the FAQ says is "it didn't come out two months ago!", which is not a proper reply to "when is this coming out".
Well, the FAQ says they will be able to release after the lighting bug is fixed. They won't know when that will happen so they cannot have an exact date. So it does somewhat answer his question.
notch says he's fixing bugs for 1.6. we can only hope that this is one of them. i'd rather shokah did'nt have to go to his last resort it sounds like it would effect the aether pretty badly, however it's better than i thought it would be. i thought you were gonna delete all the code and have to start new. so...that's good. umm to all you complaining, be patient, understand that it is not simple to make a world that's just about as large, and has as much content as the overworld. and to those wanting vids and such they wont be able to make them because of this bug probably. so yeah just know that. if it's taking too long for you, then make your own aether we dont want you trolling here. and then you can also maybe understand just how difficult this is.
GOOD GOD BOY YOUVE DONE IT! 5 bucks says king shockah and (partially) kodachi can update this themselves. if not... I'm sure someone else could.. king?

A few pages back, I read something about someone wanting Aether flowers. In this picture (http://i.imgur.com/oXXA0.jpg), on the right side, about halfway up and ~3 three blocks to the left, you will see a purple flower. Further to the left, you will see more. Aether flowers, maybe?
Second, stop complaining about the lighting bug. They have made it clear that there is not much they can do about it, short of some last-ditch backup plan, which sounds bad. The lighting bug MIGHT be fixed in 1.6, which has been given a release date of "Not Soon". We may be waiting for a while.
Third, I'd like to thank Shockah & King for keeping us informed about the lighting error. It's really nice when people care enough to explain what is/isn't happening and why. I think they deserve something rarer than diamonds (in Beta):

1: it works with 1.5_1 (i've tried it)
2: your profile pic is very distracting to me i mean, i can't tell if it looks cool or just retarded (its just like a mix of the to like a weird awesome mix)
