ive been looking around youtube and found that some people have a mod that could allow the user to leave there host body. and walk around in a ghost type state. what is this mod?please help.

Let me try to get it: You leave your character standing in a place, while you can move freely exploring, without getting damanged nor being able to mine anything ?

It's called a client, try nodus in nodusgriefing.net , also it's called freecam, it isn't a mod

It's freecam, you can get it with client hacks (here http://www.xronize.com/) and I think you can use the single player commands mod to do this.
