Minecraft PVP Map that is TF2Payload Inspired. GOAL: One Team must get the Minecart through all checkpoints to "blowup" the other base.
4 Classes Pyro: Gold Armor + Axe Medic: Bread for Themselves and Teamate (Limited Quantity) Heavy: Diamond Armor + Sword Sniper: Leather Armor + Bow + Limited Quantity of Arrows

since minecraft has only one spawn point...
may i suggest a viewing area? (spectators/team selection)
with a pool to jump down (two blocks deep) that way there will be working team selection + a way to espectate...

Ah, I'm liking the spectate + jumping down. As you can set warps, I was thinking of just setting two warps.
There is also a mod for making a map such as this where you go through a warp door or sorts:
there is a TF2 pack but it doesnt work oh and guys we now need a TF2 Mod for SMP that also use's SDK's guns for the sniper and the gatling gun and stuff

I got an idea. Since SDK guns now haves a Gatling gun, you should use this mod with this map, and it will be cooler! :biggrin.gif:
Pyro: Flamethrower (and the Scuba Tank, since pyro can breathe underwater)
Soldier: the Rocket launcher.
Heavy: Gatling Gun.
Sniper: The Sniper gun (duhh :tongue.gif:) with the Sg522 (or something like that)
Scout: The Shotgun and the Desert Eagle.
Demoman: Sticky Grenades and NOrmal Grenades.
While an awesome concept and map, when being used in SMP i see so many balancing/fairness issues, with people taking equipment as they please, (diamond armour, a bow and a tonne of arrows), and one strategy reining supreme - cheating or spamming arrows. With a combat system as simple as minecrafts there isnt much scope for things like this to work in.

Not trying to troll, it is a great work.
I fully understand where you are coming from. There are however, mods for SMP that would enable this to be possible. Instead of dispenser, a simple /kit would suffice and would replace anything in your inventory. I am not sure how to implement them. With other mod such as SDK guns, it would seem that a fairer system of classes would be possible. OF coarse, without mods, most liley, the sniper would be the strongest and well unbalanced.

I used it but it does not yet support dispensers or colored wool thus I choose not to use it in the screenshot.
