Awesome, let me know if everythings working.
It took me a good few hours to learn the whole process, so I wouldn't be surprised if something randomly went wrong.
I think we can expect great things from you :smile.gif:

Nice
Maby you can make to block go back up?
So you dont have to rebuild the trap after activated :tongue.gif:
Make a base block that you place, and if its powerded is becomes invisible and then fires an etity that goes down, and then if its unpowered, it goes back up and the main block get visible
Please tell me if you gona make it, else i gona do it :tongue.gif:
I've thought about this, and I don't really know where to begin. I personally like mods that stay intuitive , so I doubt I'll try to make the block function like that. It is a good idea though, you should go for it.
I've been working on my second mod all night, haven't gotten sleep yet. Haha
Anyway, here's what I have so far:
It's a blue wire that triggers when people/mobs/items cross it.
The only problem is I tried to convert it to be able to use ModLoader, and it blackscreens on startup.
If I implement the block the normal way everything works fine.
Any experts willing to lend a hand?
Hmm... can you release some info about how to make a block react at redstone input?
Make a redstone wire running alongside the pitfall block, trigger the redstone.
The pitfall block will do its thing.

I really like the blue wire, you should release that one.
I finally got the TripWire to work with ModLoader, so I will be releasing it soon. I spent hours trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. I give thanks to 303 for pointing me in the right direction.
I'm really looking forward to Tripwire mod. That's kinda what i wanted. Nice Pitfall mod too. :biggrin.gif:
Well, you're in luck!
I just finished and uploaded it.

Yeah redstone is one of the most interesting aspects to the game. It feels really unique, and I want to expand it a little bit :]

Nice mods!
I can help you with ModLoader, if you'd like.
303 already gave me some help, I do appreciate the offer though. I was really needing it earlier.

I had no idea that happens with pressure plates. I'll have to try it out.
That's a good idea. I'll add a new block that acts like that in v2.
awesome! i hope it doesnt take too many resources to make, so i can make a mob trap out of it
...
Really?
I see no point in tripwires if we have pressure plates
