i've looked and the game cant ind any of the specifies IDs
as in they dont exist in game
If there isn't an "errLog.txt" file then the mod is working properly. Have you tried the example ".struct" files ?
If they don't work try a clean install (follow the video).

Use the "mod_instaStructures.class" file from mod_instaStructures (Debug) instead of the one from the v1.1 pack. Run minecraft, post errLog.txt here.
java.lang.NullPointerException
Error in mod_structure
The errLog.txt will be created in the same folder as your Mincraft.exe file (it seems this way for me anyway), so check out that location for the log.
PS: I've just done a clean re-install - following the new youTube guide exactly - and for some reason it's still not working... We'll get there eventually, if this ends up working it'll be worth the hassle.
I would really love to try this mod, but I can't get it to work. Would be good if someone could suggest what I'm doing wrong. Here's what I've done...
* Downloaded InstaStructures v1.1
* Downloaded MoreIDs(5)
* Unzipped both archives
* Opened minecraft.jar with WinRAR
* Dragged everything from InstaStructures/minecraft.jar folder into my minecraft.jar (4 classes and "triman" folder)
* Dragged the two classes from MoreIDs into my minecraft.jar
* Created a "mods" folder in my ".minecraft" folder and a "structures" folder within that, to which I copied the 4 struct files from InstaStructures v1.1\Examples
I didn't need to delete my META-INF folder from within minecraft.jar, as I had already done so, to install Mo' Creatures and Omega Worlds mods. I have also already successfully added all necessary files for Audiomod and Modloader.
I am running Minecraft v 1.2.01, so the mod should be compatible and others have got it working, so I can only assume that something I have done is wrong.
Any help will be fully appreciated...
Cheers
Since you receive no errors I'm guessing that the mod is unable to find you're structures. Create a folder called minecraft somewhere, copy the .minecraft folder into it. Create a batch file with the following content:
set APPDATA=%CD%\
.minecraft\bin\Minecraft.exe
Save that as Run.bat.
Launch using Run.bat and see if the mod works.
Also have you tried using the [url=http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=100267]Single Player Command Mod[/u] to get the blocks in-game.
java.lang.NullPointerException
Error in mod_structure

Use the link a few posts up for the debug file. Have v1.1 installed then place the extracted ".class" into your minecraft.jar. Delete the errLog, run minecraft. Then post that one up here.
v1.11 has corrected the structures path (finally)
If you're using v1.1 and it works then you won't need this. Unless you change the "Start in" folder for your minecraft shortcut.
I'm having some problems with .struct files. I can import scematics from MCEdit fine and that's great, but am finding it hard to work out how to orientate structures in .struct files.
For example, I wanted to create a simple spire. Basically, it should be a 20 block vertical stack of dirt, with a 3x3 Lightstone cube on top. Here's what I've put into it's .struct file....
ID=99
? x , x , x ,1
*x=3
//Tower
Add,0,0,0,0,0,20,3
//Lightstone
Add,-1,1,-1,1,21,23,89
Unfortunately, no matter what I do, when activated in game, it creates more of a bridge, than a tower. I thought that the coords in the 'Add' command (and others) were relative to your position at placement? (e.g. x,x1 control Left/Right; y,y1 control Forward/Backward; z,z1 control vertical placement.) therefore 0,0,0,0,0,20 should be a 20 block tall stack, shouldn't it?
Anybody can shed some light on what I'm doing wrong? Maybe it's controlled more by the view angle in game?
Mark me down as officially stumped...
y,y1 control vertical placementent!!!, and z controls forward/backward

DAMMIT I WANT THIS TO WORK
Sorry seems that wasn't the correct file, this is instaStructures v1.1 (Debug)

Thanks a jillion!
Make sure you're using v1.11.
If you have a "errLog.txt" file in your minecraft's bin folder then something's gone wrong (post it here), otherwise the mod is working.
If it's still not working then follow the video, using a fresh install.
Not in-game, although that sounds like a good idea. I'll add it to my maybe list, because it could be rather tricky to implement.
i dont know if ts something on my end something on hteirs or something on your end
please help
i think it mediafire because this has happened before
dont know how long it'll be down
perhaps you should post some other mirrors too?
just a thought
Windows. Let me try the new update.
