So I know that Mo' Creatures is a single player only mod, but I had an idea. Would it work on an SMP server if everybody in the server had the mod installed on their computers and the mod was installed on the server as well? I would really appreciate the help guys thanks :biggrin.gif:
Modding the server is WAY different than modding the client, I don't think you understand that. You can't just plop the modded files from the SP mod into the server, it doesnt work like that. The two work in very different ways, to my knowledge. Apparently the differences are massive. Yes, It is possible, and SDK was doing it for his gun mod, but MASSIVE amounts of code would need to be re-written for the server to accept, understand, and handle even a single new item or block, none the less a SERVER CONTROLLED ENTITY like what Mo' Creatures would require.
