when you locate the area on your computer where minecraft.jar is (in .minecraft\bin) you must open in up with an archive manager, such as 7-zip, winzip, or the like. once you do that, extract the mod files to your desired location, then just drag and drop any .class file into the minecraft.jar. afterwards, delete META-INF, which is found in minecraft.jar, and then exit. you should now have a modded minecraft that you can play with no problem.
I'm pretty sure you just didn't read the directions; most mods are packaged into .rar or .zip files.
When i download it ,the icon looks like a piece of paper.
Sorry guys im not realy educated with the computer, But i ****en LOVE MINECRAFT!!!!!!!!

The step by steps are the exact same. The only difference is mac users rarely understand how their own computer works. Probably why they got a mac to begin with so they dont HAVE to understand. There are plenty of mac users playing with DOZENS of mods at the same time. What does this mean? Mac may suck but knowledge wins. Learn how your computer works. This applies no matter what OS you use.
Dont even pay attention on what's writen.
Download
Put in app folder
download any .exe
double click on it.
voila!
...I'm a mac user... Just... seriously... google is your friend!
My iMac is able to run everything! Mac or PC!
And if you really need to play PC games... Just install windows seven !
how? Spotlight Bootcamp ! it's already in your mac!
All the mods are for PCs. Everything from downloading MODLOADER/ AUDIOLODER etc. fails.
When i download these loaders in comes up as a blank piece of paper...?
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this is a thread for the MAC users like me.
They shouldn't...
As the icon? I'm sure that's just your Mac not knowing what a .class file is.

Dam i have to pay for the download.
40$.. less than the price of 1 new game.. and it will let you play virtually everything. Id say thats cost effective.
