Please don't flame. And to answer your question, yes there is!
But I hope you can update mods and know how to disable the non-smp code in the mod. Either that or I can send you the 0.3 version (not disabled for smp) and you can update it. If you don't know java, then too bad.
Austen407's in game inventory editor simply drops the wanted them to the floor, without needing to access the player's actual inventories, therefor server-side inventories don't affect it's performance.
one last thing: It better be a creative smp server if you can get it working.
That's why I told him to update it if he wanted to use it, read it more carefully. And I've never gotten banned on a server before because no one's ever seen a reason TO ban me. By the way, JTTCOTE isn't my account name, it's my friends.
No need to flame and swear over my suggestion. This is a minecraft topic after all. In theory, the inventory I suggested editor will work in beta smp when updated. I'm not saying I'm going to blow your server up with it.
ps: thanks for the site, the mod there works in Beta smp too!!
battlekid, i think i know what he wants, maybe he doesn't want to be on a server, think about singleplayer mode for a sec. you cant do those item commands in singleplayer (i tried) so its technically not considered cheating if you aren't where you can bother anyone. (i think)
Just thought I'd add that not all server hosts care. I'm on a semi-private server and the mod gives me redstone and obsidian all the time for my random projects. So what about semi-private servers? (Semi-private meaning, if you know the IP then you are welcome. Just no griefing)

That is the point, if the server wanted you to be able to spawn items they would simply use or allow you to use the /give command. The only reason you would need an INV Editor would be if the server wasn't allowing the above.
I believe that is what battlekid is getting at. Either way if you want to mess around and cheat just do it in a private or singleplayer map.
I saw one yesterday using the /give commands. I havent been able to find it since, Im admin on my own server and its a ***** to have to type out 100 times the same command to fill your inventory. So yeah, thats a legit way :happy.gif:
If you are actually the one running the server then there are many ways to make it work, use a server-side wrapper, cheat engine or nbtedit. all will work if the server is running on your computer.
Its not cheating if the server is a creative survival server noob!!!
1. If the server already includes /item or /give, then you have no use for the cheat.
2. If the server doesnt include that, then you are the noobish hacking griefing asshole here
If yes to one, then
A. You are an idiot
B. You are an idiot who wants to spawn blocked blocks (BANHAMMER time!)
Troll=Fail
You are an idiot
If he wants to build, which he says he does, theres no grounds to assume HURP DURP GREIFER
You are a pretentious asshat, grow up
@ OP, you can't edit SMP inventories unless you have access to the computer/VPS the server is running from due to serverside inventories
Yes, but you need to be able to use the /give command. It basically works by typing the item id and command for you when you just choose the item that you want.
TooManyItems is a inventory editor that works on both SMP and SSP. In SMP, it works by using the "/give" command, so if you don't have access to /give, then you can't use it. Creative Survival servers should give you /give, though, so it's all good.
This Inventory Editor also can save states and stuff in SSP, so epic win to that!
I was going to mention that, thanks for saving me work.
xD
Let me pound ONE THING into your head:
BETA SMP DOES NOT WORK WITH ANY INVENTORY EDITORS.
I run a server, I've used MCCheat, I've modded my client and I've banned hackers. Notch did a fine job of it: IT IS NOW IMPOSSIBLE TO HACK IN ITEMS FOR SMP BETA. Now stop it and get a working brain please.

viewtopic.php?f=25&t=97332#IngameInvedit
You NEED:
-Rigasumi's Modloader
-Lawhran's Settings Screen API
And it's approved because you need to be an admin anyways! TaDa!!!
I was going to mention that, thanks for saving me work.
