Do you have Audiomod and Modloader installed? You need them for the mod, also if you have beta 1.3_1 you can't use the download one on page 1, but instead the one 303 updated, it's on page 19 :smile.gif:
I also forgot to mention, I do have the latest version of Modloader and Audiomod. I also have some gui mod for the mo' creatures. My game works when I play it, but the elements that this mod is supposed to add to the game are not here.
I had the same problem... But I think you klikt on the Dowload buttom but then you download the wrong one. Scroll down and klik in Achrieve: mod_minegunner-1.3_01v1-303.zip
That's the one you need.
I re-downloaded it, and made sure it was the right one, but now it just crashes the game.

Well it should be installed.I got the update form 303. Maybe the problem is the Audiomod and Modloader.
This looks like an awesome mod, but I can't seem to get it to work. I'm currently using a few mods and the TFC Mod Manager. I have Mo' Creatures and the 2x2 Crafting Grid Mod. Do either of these conflict with this mod?
I'm pretty sure the 2x2 crafting grid has conflicting item IDs with Ye Olde Minegunner.

I think it's a problem with this mod itself, because I tried to run it alone with Modloader and Audiomod, it still didn't work...
Just broke down and remodded my jar for this, defending my base against (what seems like and endless amount of) creepers using some cheapo stone pistols. None have exploded (yet). Got enough string to make a bow to help, this is going to be hell...how fun!
blackscreen? doesnt seem to work i have modloader, audiomod, obsidian tolls beta 1.3, mo'creatures, and GuiAPI0.9.7, are any of these not compatible, i would really like this mod
No, it does work, it's just the download link gives you the source files and not the actual mod. The actual mod is the second entry in the download archive on its Mod Center page.
It does in fact work. Instead of clicking the big download button look for "Archives", then look for this "mod_minegunner-1.3_01v1-303.zip." Click on that and download, that is what you need.
Thread closed. Another moderator or I will unlock it when and if just_dont ever comes back and updates it. For now, it's just getting spammed with people asking for it to be updated or whether it works with the latest version. For a 1.3_01 version, take a look at the following:
