HI. I need gravel to sand, or stone to sand, or something to sand recipe.
Im in situation where after playing with biome i am building on complete green and high
land, my savegame is 40 mb now because of my MISSIONS TO FIND SAND.
I have find only 2 of them, i think nearly 10 minutes on pegasus from home, and they are depleted now.
I have no sand.
I will not cheat, but i think i can use gravel in real world to make sand from it.
And how do you like idea of making millstone?
I cannot get the ore tiers to work no matter how hard i try... I took the files, not the folders, put then into the minecraft.jar, deleted the Indev file or whatever it is again, and have other working mods that require the same stuff, but I cannot get this one.

It worked fine for me...do you have ModLoader installed?
I've been thinking and made up this recipe for stone to sand just random stuff sand can be called stone dust if you look at it realy carefully, so why not grind up or is it realy random stone using something hard, like iron.
= x16
And then something magical happened :biggrin.gif: The mod appeared on my pc and on the net (I have no java knowledge and it was 3am, but I think it works): http://www.mediafire.com/?mbpjv5xtpv40g26
I hope it's ok Roundaround. And happy new year Sorry for posting in your topic, the guy needed a recipe :wink.gif:
Oh, that works. Don't worry, it's legit. I haven't tested it, but it's structured correctly. :smile.gif: I hope you don't mind, but I added a second recipe to it that allows cobblestone as well as regular stone, and will be adding it to my list. Thanks for doing it, and happy new year to you too. :smile.gif:
EDIT:
Updated the stuff I mentioned earlier (more difficult recipes), fixed More Signs, and added Stone to Sand. :smile.gif:
EDIT 2:
Just noticed what that wicked small size 4 text said. No worries, I encourage that, really. :smile.gif:
2000 thumps up
the mod is so great
can you add this recipe plz
= x3
I'm not sure what you mean by that...

You should do the same thing you did with tool recycle for armour.
Sure, I'll get around to it later tonight probably.

Here. I edited Round's mod to make only 2 tnt More TNT edited
Tehe, you beat me to it. :tongue.gif: I'm still adding it to my list though. I usually hold off until I have several updates/additions at once before I upload them.
Well, I think that if the person wants a mod why not give him a mod. It's actually funny that you need to change only a single number but for that you need to decompile, change the number, recompiler, rar-it, upload it and finally post it. It's just crazy how much work is needed.
Eh, it's not so bad if you have a system down. :smile.gif:
Sadly, I can't do this one like I'd hoped. I can make the recipe to craft the ore blocks, but I can't override the one that produces nine from the block without editing one of the original class files, which I don't want to do, because it'll cause big incompatibilities. And I don't want to make a recipe that gives infinite iron, gold, and diamonds. Sorry.
On the bright side, I uploaded an update.
I added Armor Recycle, tweaked Tool Recycle, and added the version of More TNT that produces two instead of four.
Both Armor and Tool Recycles produce one less than the input amount. (Yes this means you can no longer recycle shovels.) I thought this made more sense so that you can't keep making brand new armor for only the cost of fire.
Sorry that I can't be bothered to read the whole thread but I have to ask this question:
Will these work with SMP? These are absolutely awesome seeing as they can't conflict with any mods as it doesn't actually add new things to the game! Even if they don't work for SMP I will still download them for SSP although me and my friends won't be able to enjoy all the clever recipes.

I'm not sure. I don't play/mod SMP, so I'm not familiar with how things are structured. But I suppose it relies on two things being coded the same way. The crafting manager class, and ModLoader. Since there is only one ModLoader, I know we have that one alright.
I guess you can try testing it, but I warn you, I don't know what may happen. :tongue.gif:
I finally remembered my idea! I was going to post it earlier but then forgot it :/
Placing one wooden door into the crafting space gives you 2 half doors in return, placing a half door above a half door in the crafting space gives you a door!
I'm sorry to hear that. But sadly an unpackaged "All Recipes" download is impossible to do because of the multiple versions of many/most of the recipes. I'm actually surprised you want every single one of them anyway. :tongue.gif:

Hm, that'd be a request at my mod thread, not here (the door is registered as one piece only in the blocks list and would require a separate mod to create the half doors. A gate for fences would make more sense, but I think I read somewhere that Notch is eventually planning on adding it, or that he at least really liked the idea.

I would just like to say that I have tried placing door "blocks", look at the wiki's data value page to see what I mean. I thought this would be possible with the ones already coded into the game, (each door is actually 2 door "blocks", one on top of other), and it wouldnt open/close/move. Just thought I would mention that.

It works on SMP so why not SSP? That's just my view, I personally don't understand all of the coding stuff that goes on.

= Gold Block

Etc.
Easy enough. :smile.gif: I'll do it when I do the rest. You'll have to wait a few days though.
