When I found a tower I walked in and there were no monsters. When I got to the top the Golem was there but when I got close to him he disappeared. Help please?
You should change the layout of the towers so you can not hide in the boss stage (unless you go down a level), I think to do this you should put the chests against the wall, or give the boss a ranged attack.

Minecraft has crashed!
[a bunch of text that I do not want to quote]
Did you remember to install the other mods? This is often forgotten.
I would also try installing minecraft in other formats, such as minecraft.jar rather then EXE.
Also I have seen 2 different crash reports while using battletower, and both people used Win7. So perhaps it just is not compatible.
yeah, windows 7... damn

I got a very entertaining game for you. Its called the derp game. Take a toothpick and gently place it between your big toe nail and the flesh of your toe... then kick a wall with that foot as hard as possible...

Funny, cause I spawned inside a tower myself, only on the first floor surrounded by zombies. I hauled out of there with only two hearts left. Lucky me, I saved out in the desert now, dodging Rogues & bandits looking to finish the job. And I thought Demon's Souls was merciless...
The game has forced me into a storyline where I have to reclaim my spawning point from mob control. At least I'll have a decent base when all is done...

LOL well wait until you determine how many of the top floors are left after you silence the golem's rampage before you make any plans for it.
One of my own stories:
I once saw a medium tower as soon as I spawned and started walking to it to check it out. I had just loaded a bunch of mods including the humans, animal, etc. and only half-read the descriptions; so anxious to explore the new features, was I. As soon as I started moving, an easy tower started to loom in the distance beyond the first target of my quick trek. I changed course slightly and started hiking towards that one instead; thinking I'd have an easy time of working my way to the top to survey the territory I thought would be called my own within a short time. As I passed somewhat near the first tower, a THIRD tower started to show in the distance beyond the second one. I had not assaulted a tower yet (and been spanked repeatedly by those within the bastion of violent intent), so I had visions of clearing all three and making a skywalk between all three. Plans of a massive sky base supported by three towers passed through my head for a short while until I entered the tower (completely unarmed) to announce my presence. I was quickly greeted and sent packing to my spawn. "Here is your beating! Thank you. Come again!" LOL.
A little story of one of my adventures; I hope some of you might enjoy it as my thanks for such a great addition to Minecraft: The first tower I actually took (a medium one) killed me at least 8 times; half of the time I was geared up with a mix of chainmail (looted from the corpses that fell victim to a roaming knight) and steel plate brought up from my modest mining stores. The golem frightened me when it activated; thinking for a moment that it would not wake from it's stasis. But my hope proved short lived as it jerked to life and let forth a cry of anger. By the time I had completed my quest, the top three floors were mostly gone; only shreds of the cobblestone were left, eerily quiet as they floated in the sky; no longer tethered to the soil as they once were. The shredded cobblestone ultimately saved me from the golem, as his poor intelligence left him somewhat trapped within a torn corner of the building as he cried in rage and tried to get closer to me. I used this to my advantage to repeatedly dart in for a few strikes at a time to finish him off; having to fall back to repair my steel sword midway through; so many strikes it did take to fell the beast. For a while I thought my finely honed steel blade had no effect on his nether-spawned skin. His death came as mere relief; triumph having been bled from my body long ago. A wooden expression played upon my face as I surveyed the carnage and flotsam all around me. A ring of cobblestone debris and dropped gear from my multiple deaths, some by explosion, littered the hilly terrain all around the now-silent tower. Now there is only the sound of the wind whistling through the mossy cobblestones; hinting at the shrill cries of wild malevolence that once played through the dark tower.
This mod is giving me problems when I try to use it with mcpatcher, pretty weird stuff... The one time I got it to run with mcpatcher something funky happened in which the texture I was using was not appearing anymore, said texture was brown and bloom.
UPDATE!
Okay so I reinstalled my minecraft.jar, and to my surprise when I do so and start up the game I start with the texture I wanted to use this mod with, but without the proper patching, I check the .jar for any of the moving water classes the patcher creates and as expected nothing was there. So I then re immediately reinstall this mod the mod loaders everything I had basically. IT works! But without patched animations! So I then decide to use the mcpatcher tool and to my dismay the thing doesn't want to work! In a short few I will post the log so you can see what's going on maybe it's a mistake on my part, I'm human after all, and I will also report this problem to the mcpatcher thread.
UPDATE#2
Okay it's not this mod causing problems! It's the API settings, after comparing another error report I missed somehow I figured it out. Were it not for that poster though I'd still be blaming it on you! I'm sorry op!
So then my question now is should I play this mod without good textures but an awesome grappling hook or should I play it with good textures and no grappling hoook??
Yup... That was a hard-ass tower indeed. Half the floors have to be remodeled now, and I only managed to capture it with the help of the hunters from humans+. Nice thing is, they poured in from the mob spawners, and the creepers detonated their own spawns. MAN that was fun though! In the end, I got enough diamonds to make the ultimate fist, so the next one shouldn't be so hard.
1 question, what happens if i enter a tower in peaceful, or do they even appear there?
noone noticed my question??
idk if they even spawn in peaceful
They spawn in peaceful. It's not defined by difficulty, it's defined by the chunks they spawn in.
i have spent an hour looking through atleast 20 worlds and many have had over 5mb and yet i have not found a single one... whats more i have had many large flat areas... not hating i just would like to know what i can do to fix it
You have to go far. and I mean FAR. to chunks you haven't even developed yet. My main single player file is in a flat mesa desert. Had to walk double my distance of the save file to find two.
So i download this mod. i create a new world, BAM one right infront of me. epic
so i say ill save this world for my LP series and create another new world, guess what, same tower spawned right infront of me :biggrin.gif: LUCKY MUCH?
when you install it do they just randomly appear when you create a new world?
Great MOD.
yeah, windows 7... damn
