I inquired about the spawn block for the golem, and I was wondering if I were to download this mod and then use an inventory editor to spawn the block ID, I could place it somewhere and the golem would spawn and the block would dissapear?

Yeah that's basically how it works. Block ID is 117. If you place it, the golem will spawn almost immediately if you are within range, and then the block will be erased. If you try flying to a tower, you can see how the spawning process works.

Try starting from the top and working your way down. The best stuff is at the top anyway, and you won't have to deal with creepers falling on you. Also MAKE SURE the tower has an 8th floor (not the roof). The best loot by far is on the 8th floor and not all towers have that floor due to the map's height restrictions.

I mean, I hate that they can make you fall through floors but it makes the tower more challenging. But if you're gonna keep them for the next update aswell, can you put obsidian blocks or adminium blocks around the chests so they can't be blown up. About two blocks high each side and the block where the chest is placed is also an obsidian/adminium block. This way, the chests can't be blown up from any angle, the monsters can't get on the chests, and you can still right click the chests for the rewards.
I'm not exactly sure what to say about protecting the chests themselves... the whole tower itself is meant to be destructible, and looking at a conquered tower with all kinds of holes in it is supposed to be symbolic. It's like, you not only beat the dungeon - you beat the crap out of the dungeon. Also, it beat the crap out of you too, but you were better in the end. And in the end, it looks kind of silly to see a bunch of obsidian blocks floating around with chests snug inside them. I just cant think of a way to protect the chests without making them easier to loot. Besides making the chest itself indestructible.

To fix the chest part with the explosion,make an (obsidian chest) to come with that mod.
It can be equivalent to the saddle,you cant :Bench:(craft)one you can only find it in the tower
to take for yourself.

I'd say this, and make it susceptible to gravity so that you don't just have a floating chest
This would be an amazing mod, so amazing that it's something I'd like Notch to put in the game but...

Good mod but make it a little more stable. Maybe make some floors out of obsidian or the chests surrounded by obsidian so they can't be blown up?
I see that there are definitely some problems with the tower and the behaviour of the golems: one area of sorrow seems to come mostly from the explosions. The explosive stomp code uses a few custom methods that work around the usual processes, which leads to the awkward behaviour in Pet Mode. I already have a solution for this and I'll fix it with the next update. I agree that golems would be amazing pets if they didn't blow everything up all the time. No matter what happens though, anyone can get caught in an explosion if it gets angry.
As for the chests, do you think I should just get rid of creepers in the tower? At first I though it would be a neat idea, but a lot of people seem to be having more trouble than I had. Seriously, a zombie on the stairs is usually a much bigger obstacle than a creeper running around.
Perhaps not *update* per se, but just release another WorldGenTower.class that doesn't have the creepers. Or Alternatively, you could have a options file or ingame GUI that could set different things, such as which monsters spawn or how hard the golem is, what treasure (and how much) you get, etc. This would require an update.
#5 Intercompatibility - coming soon but I'm not going to update until 1.2.7. Corosus is working to find out what the problem is with his Pets Mod, I will add compatibility with the Biome Terrain Mod myself, but as for the Mo' Creatures Mod, I have no idea. And I will support this mod for various later versions. I will not leave your worlds to rot in the dust, tainted by troublesome Tile Entities that contaminate your terrain with their variably compatible presence.
It will probably make more sense for me to write in the class loader check in px.class myself since I modify so much in there. It's fairly easy and I already have the code for it:

The golem will either chase you or just stop and maybe wonder around the area it stopped in, you will need to explore and generate new chunks in order for this to work so if you've already got terrain loaded don't expect to find any towers on that area.
It would be awesome if you could add more mobs, or if like.. you and DrZhark could work together. I'd love to see the tower go underground, too, with the underground part of the tower being much more difficult than the above-ground part. Going down and finding Zhark's Ogres coming out of spawners would be so awesome, and then have like an Ogre boss at the very bottom. Also, instead of the whole 'less and less floor' thing that goes with the top, it'd instead have less and less light.

Luckily i survived. When i got to the top again im liek LOLWAT Theres a huge wildfire that started. I find it creepy.
I think it might of been a lava pool.

A) Keep creepers, Improve golem AI (For pet mode), And make the reward for going through the tower greater.

Found the problem.
I seems that my auto updater broke and did not update from 1.2.5 to 1.2.6
but I hate that they keep making these huge canyons
