Okay, I tried searching and found nothing that helped, so I'm resorting to making a thread. Is there any way to remove all of one type of block from your Minecraft save, without going and physically destroying them all? I'm trying to remove all of the Marble Mod blocks (IDs 100, 101, 102) from my world, so that I can safely update without having to start a new save and start from scratch. Tried using MineEdit to replace them all, but it only lets me remove the ones in my inventory. It doesn't acknowledge the ones already placed/generated in the world. I tried using MCEdit too, but unless I'm missing something, you can't select all blocks of one specific ID number, meaning I'd have to delete the marble one group at a time. I might as well just start fresh if that's the case. So, is there another utility to use to delete/replace all of them at one go, or a way to get MineEdit to recognize them?

My world is full of mod blocks that I need to remove. Can MineEdit be forced to recognize these blocks so I can replace them, or is there another program that can get rid of all of them for me?
MCEdit can do this. You put in id of blocks you want to replace, and id of block you want to replace it with(eg. air). Prest Ctrl-A, and select your entire map. Then press 4, then R. Then put in ids.

Hi, same problem here, just with other mod ( bridgeblock )
I cant do what you just done :S
Edit tab -> Replace menu and put in IDs..
The program wont let me type the block ID (109), just selecting one from the list.. and there is no 109 in the list..
and even if i write a good ID ( like 2, 002, 0x002 ) there the "ADD" buttom still stays gray, cant add to the remove list
Im using the latest Windows version of MineEdit, any idea?
And CTRL+a and "4"... i dont even have an idea what they do.. :S
Maybee with an older version of mineedit?
Looking forward for answers!

There are 10 kinds of people who understand binary.
Those who do.
And those that don't.
