Well, with 2 diamonds you could make 2 Shovels.
Maybe if you made it use 303's Mod loader and a way to change how many ores it'll drop (like from 1 to 5) and how fast the smelting is (normal to instant), if possible, of course.
These are just suggestions to try to make the MOD better. Good luck with your modding "career". :wink.gif:
Actually, the whole idea of dropping 4 of each ore came from what the block looks like. There are 4 pieces of gold/iron/coal/diamond in each block texture. Auto smelting is to make sure nobody cheats, so you dont mine iron, get 4 iron blocks, place down those 4 iron blocks, get even more iron blocks, and such.
A good idea for this would be using the Modloader. But like while your mining thing. Certian ore should like make it different.
Coal = almost instant
Iron Bloc = instant
Wood = coal normal

1. Make a mod to where you can ride horses around,can only just up 1 block
2. Think of something usefull to the minecraft world, like have a bed and acctually working clocks that tell time of day
4. It would be really cool if the good mods got stickied
I think if it was truly 'minerlove' then you should include an option for unbreakable picks, or repairable. but have it as an option. make a GUI. then you could extend the 'Love' exponentially. it could be a love that can be tailored to what each persons wants. With a GUI you could select which ores have an increased drop, how many they drop (with limits of course) also an option to extend tool life, if not indefinitely, then double or 1.5 times the amount of uses.
this would be limited to say 4 times the normal usage. But it would all be customisable.
and this wouldn't be considered cheating. just.... extending the usefulness of tools and ores.
I don't know about you but my mind it filling with ideas that your mod could make true... just with a GUI
EDIT: If you can make a couple of "unpure" gold & iron ingots and make them smeltable, link me the DL and I'll add it into this, and release a seperate version without auto smelting. If you do this, of course, you get almost full credit for the one without auto smelting :wink.gif:
I don't quite get what you mean by this. I don't get where the unpure ingots are coming from. Do you want the blocks to drop the unpure ingots? Or do you want some craftable ingots of some sort? I assume that the unpure ingots are to be smelted into pure, regular ingots?
