If you want to help make something, download this smaller map named CyanWorld, make your creation, and send it back to me. I am looking for cities, villages, towers, churches, sactuaries, forts, and houses. Nothing too big for it's size. I can't guarantee you that I'll want to put it in, but I'm welcome to accepting custom locations from the community. Link:http://www.mediafire.com/?y10tyt7mte102et
The goal in Cyandil is to collect Cyan Shards (Diamonds with the texture pack's look). There will be 18 of them scattered in chests across Cyandil. I will mark on the map (soon) the places
they will be found. --> Look at my signature for a picture of a Cyan Shard! <--
Important to Know!
-Yellow Dust is roleplayed as the currency of the world, you find some and you can use it to buy shop items.
-Do not spoil your gameplay! The only block you can delete is glass.
-Stay on the roads, you will get lost!
-READ SIGNS! THEY TELL YOU EVERYTHING!
-If you haven't yet, download the texture pack above.
-You will be able to buy food other items.
Money System:
We aren't there to sell you items, so it's up to you if you want to Roleplay it out.
You can gather Yellow Dust by finding treasure chests. When you find a shop, there will be two chests.
1 chest is for the items you can buy. The Redstone Dust in the space next to the item shows how much
yellow dust you need to pay for it (You can buy only one from the stack of items for each payment of Dust).
Place the Yellowstone you use to purchase in the 'Payments' Chest.
Example:
You enter a shop and want to buy some torches. You open the 'Items for Sale' Chest and you see a stack of 50 torches. Next to it is a stack of 5 Redstone Dust. Redstone Dust = How much Yellow Dust you pay. Take one torch and place 5 Yellow Dust in the 'Payments' chest. There you have it! Our shop system!
I started working on this flat grass generated land that goes on and on...and on forever. Basically the map is for those who like to roleplay on single player and those who like to explore vast maps of creations. There are going to be several large cities and landmarks to see.
To speed up the construction of the world and reduce time until release, I've started using MCEdit (editing the world) and INVEdit (editing the invetory).
Expected Release date: 7 Weeks
(Yes I update this weekly)
Nearing Release, I will add: A world map with Cartographer. A download to put in in your Singleplayer! Images of the best creations.
I don't need any help! Just subscribe to my thread to see the release!
I've started on this project two days ago.
What I have done so far is create a large city with walls and a floor (INVEdit only). It's looking pretty good.
Everything is done with mah bare block hands!
My Todo List:
-Create Park, Castle, and some rooms inside the current city under construction
-Make a long pathway that leads to a crossroad with lots of trees around (Stay on the path please!)
-Create the place where you spawn at first
-Make a few random houses out in this foresty area
-Create 2 small puzzle dungeons
-Sleep
Estimated time until release: 1-2 Months, I really want this to be enjoyable.
Cyandil comes from Cyrodil in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Don't expect a remake of it!
Cyandil Series
-Cyandil RPG/Exploring Map (WIP)

I honestly don't believe that, but I'm not one to say anything. Good luck all the same.
The only tool I have added was INVEdit.
