One day, a friend came up to me and said he was making a scavenger hunt on Minecraft. I was confused until he showed me what he was up to. In my opinion, what he has done so far is amazing and inspired me to make my own little Minecraft adventure. He is still working on his and I will post it when it is finished; however, mine is complete.
Basically, you have to follow clues and run around mMinecraft with stuff provided to you. It's kind of a game within a game if you will and gives the game a little more meaning. If you would like to try my short little preview (I guess) of my friends, the download link is below. It has all the instructions for you inside the ReadMe document. Extracting may take a long time but that's because you are extracting a whole 0.92mb world. Enjoy!
Well its not really new (Skylands, broville, 4 towers) but its not commen either. I really like these types of things so ill try it out and tell you how you did... as long as you put it up for download correctly...

It may not be the best thing you've seen, but it wasn't made to be. It's mainly a preview for the other major ones that my friend and I are both making.
Just completed it already somehow. Worked out the first bit (pretty nice), then I triggered the bit after where you hear zombies and it said I won already. The first time I died though there was something else there, so I don't know.
Everything is really close together so throughout the time playing it you could have skipped over something. Who knows. Hope you enjoyed it!
Yes ive noticed that problem too...everything is too close and believe it or not takes out some of the fun due to me not being able to completly know were is the right place to go... try making it spread out a bit? other then that great job so far and hope you keep going with it.

Alright, thanks for the tips. I will definitely do that on the major ones. Ill post more up once i have completed them.
I don't know if its incredibly short length means spoilers are alright? I just want to point out my route (roughly) so you can see what sections I've missed. Maybe then you could work on the parts where I was meant to go another way to experience the full level.
Alright, go ahead and tell your route. You can PM it if you want but i guess you dont have to
So i hazz idea for your next thing... maybe make some on diffrent islands put some boats on a dock/chest and your have to set sail and your direction are something like "at the light house look for ......" i think it would be pretty cool.

Because you are one of the first people to test it out for me, I will definitely do that in the next one.
I'll try and be as vague as possible! So I run out at the start, returned to hole, got to redstone room (ores in wall), mined the right wall (right of sign), triggered TNT, finish.
I know there's another place at the death spawn place where you dig down and there's a redstone trail, but I had no pick so I didn't explore that. Also by the way, there's like 4 diamond right above the end room lol.
Yea you skipped a lot

When you exit the start room, follow the compass to the spawn and that should get you going in the right direction
