Aaaaand now Round has abandoned it, clearly because he, too, is a jerk who hates good-looking games.
At long last, MCP updated and I could fix it myself, though. Rejoice. And then email and/or tweet Mojang and ask them to just put the textures back already. Seriously. You, with the email address and/or twitter account. Stop sitting around like a complacent idiot. Do it. Now.

Yay you fixed it! Now i can finally use the full textures of the ore blocks! Thanks :smile.gif:
EDIT: Modloader compatibility for texture overrides please.
Hey, here's a great idea! Let's pester the guy with zero programming experience who took five hours to change the textures on one block to code in support for some third-party mod manager that he doesn't even like!
This mod is staying exactly the way it is. If you want it to stop conflicting with the coral mod, I suggest you bug whoever made that. Thanks.
Any chance this mod will be updated soon? This mod is sorta essential when playing with the Painterly settings I use, so I'm kinda need to get a working one. Thanks!
Actually, at this point I'm holding out for the mod API before I update. Notch has crammed a texture into the spot I need for this. I suggest, in the meantime, that you tweet, email however you can, ask Notch to re-implement the textures.
(seriously, stop sitting there like an idiot and do it)
wow, everyone around here is being extremely lazy...
I updated my old fix for v1.2_01 in like 5 minutes.
Here it is: http://www.multiupload.com/O28GF3DZJX
Works same as one in first post, just ignore the extra texture under the iron block and copy your iron side-texture over it. No bugs as far as I know.
(That extra texture isn't being used by anything currently, see here: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Mystery_Block)

Thanks a ton! Have one of these - they look nice now :smile.gif:
could you change the texture id's please? and update to 1.0.0? theres a lot of stuff taking up the space under the ore blocks in the terrain.png so it doesnt work anymore
The reason it hasn't been updated is because nobody has posted an updated obfuscation map. The one I found that claimed to work with 1.2.3_04 was only up-to-date as of _03.
dude you should either update this amazing mod or give me the source code so i can update it :sad.gif: pleeease
