With this item you can change spawn point in game. Usage is: when item is selected and right mouse button is used, it sets that block to spawn point. Currently it doesn't change that block to different block.
When player respawns, it spawns where spawn point is changed. Spawning to Nether dimension doesn't work.
Item id is 2562 and it uses Quiver icon. Item recipe is: 8 wool. Also this item doesn't have durability.
This mod is great. I went to the bottom of the ocean and placed a sponge, and there was a nice wall of water around me. PERFECT for underwater building :biggrin.gif:

As I can't get Mod loader working (Running linux and too lazy to fight with WINE), and I am trying to install the sponge mod. Is it just a matter of copying the classes into the minecraft.jar file like every other mod? If so, it doesn't work. I tried installing the anti-animal mod of yours as well, and it seems to work.. kinda. As in no animals spawn.. at night, or maybe I got lucky. who knows.. but during the day animals came back. Any ideas?

Your toggle friendly mobs mod isn't working. I placed the ak.class and gn.class files in minecraft.jar, added allowAnimals:false to options.txt, and ran it.
Animals are still there. Went back and the options.txt removed the cvar. So I added it again, made it read only so the game won't overwrite it, and animals are still there.
I put the cvar under the "skin" cvar. Does this thing require ModLoader or something?
Why does teh sponge need a gold block? I cant even get 3 gold blocks in all my minecraft play. Please change this.

I did actually find a use for the animals, when you're deep underground and need to find the surface, they'll let you know if you are close. Other than that, animals are useless. Thank you so much for this! :smile.gif:
This is awesome! but i agree that the recipe should be changed for the sponge, not sure what to, but definitely cheaper. maybe using lightstone or lightstone dust.

Try moving to a new area. It didn't work for me at the start, but when I moved to a new area, I didn't see anymore spawn.
Updated mod "Toggle animals on / off" again. Now it's working as like peaceful difficulty setting for hostile mobs. New version download is in first post and here: http://www.mediafire.com/?xznlealvaa63dhx

Maybe, but anyway, i can also add cheaper material cost sponge, which removes slightly less water than expensive version. Still thinking what i should actually do with it.

With this new version, changing chunks it's not needed in existing worlds. Only changing "allow animals" to off and clicking button "done" is needed.

im not sure what you mean about that, the mobs are only not present on peaceful? but anyway i didnt download the new one, i just did what the guy above suggested, after moving to a new area all the animals were gone and they didnt come back. On a new world they dont seem to spawn at all which is good, but in existing worlds when the entities are already loaded you simply gotta change chunks to get rid of them i suppose.
Hard difficulty+animal mode off=HOLY CROW THIS IS HARDER THAN HARD. No pigs for meat, cows for leather, or chickens for feathers. must, get IRON.

Use INVedit yaits cheap but its how u get stuff for mods like the staff mod I needed 4 golden blocks I used invedit to get it minecraft gets boring after a while with INVedit you can do anything.

Animals are still there. Went back and the options.txt removed the cvar. So I added it again, made it read only so the game won't overwrite it, and animals are still there.
I put the cvar under the "skin" cvar. Does this thing require ModLoader or something?
