lol. it's not a GUI that you can select mods and load them by clicking a menu of sorts. Just stick it in the minecraft.jar and you're done. there's nothing else to do
Installation Windows:
1) Open up %appdata%, if you don't know how to do this, start>run, then type in %appdata%
2) Browse to .minecraft/bin
3) Open up minecraft.jar with WinRAR or 7zip.
4) Drag and drop the necessary files into the jar.
5) Delete the META-INF folder in the jar.
6) Run Minecraft, enjoy!
Macintosh:
1) Go to Applications>Utilities and open terminal.
2) Type in the following, line by line:
cd ~
mkdir mctmp
cd mctmp
jar xf ~/Library/Application\ Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar
3) Outside of terminal, copy the class files into the mctmp directory.
4) Back inside terminal, type in the following:
rm META-INF/MOJANG_C.*
jar uf ~/Library/Application\ Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar ./
cd ..
rm -rf mctmp
5) Run Minecraft, enjoy!

Honestly bro, you don't stand a chance at modding the game if you can't find minecraft.jar when it's EXPLICITLY said on a million different threads where it is.
If (most) of you haven't realized, he's probably skipped a gene where you have the instinctive nature to use the "search" function. Appdata folder is naturally invisible so idiots can't **** around with it. You have to go through some long and boring steps to make it unhidden if you try finding it manually. I'm not going to post them, but someone who has more patience will.

To say the truth I followed all the rules to putting the mod loader in and I get a black screen somehow it got deleted and I couldnt fix it again I have done it before. I draged the files to minecraft.jar and deleted the META-INF folder but I still get a black screen.

I have WinRAR installed but when I do open with I can't find WinRAR
Nvm I figured out how to do it.
Right click it then open with WinRAR.
You need to delete the folder in minecraft.jar called META-INF
