Some people may call this cheating but i made a texture where everything is transparent except for obsidian, lava, water, ores, mossy cobblestone, and mob spawners. I made this a while ago but just for myself, but then i noticed this could be a big help to some people.
Interesting! Saves me a lot of editing trouble, I was going to do something similar for tweaking the BiomeTerrain mod's ore distribution to more my tastes, it's impossible to quickly tell how things work without something like this :smile.gif: thank you!
EDIT: you slipped a 2 at the end of that, 404 until I removed the 2 from ".zip2"

Doesn't work. If there is a block that's being covered by other blocks on all sides, it will not show it. It will most likely only show ones on the side of a cave opposite to where you are, or under lava, if you are above the lava pool.

Sorry to bring up this old topic, but would this work in a multiplayer server? I'm quite sure it would, but I'm more afraid if the server admin will have any way to figure out what texture pack I have on.
