I'm trying to make my own texture pack.
I'm doing every texture in the game, Terrain, Particles, Items, Armor.
Problem is... I have trouble telling where and what each part is on a mob...
For the most part I've done Fine... But I'd sure appreciate having a version of their skins which outline each section so that I know which area to draw whatever on and possible correct the skins I've made so far.
I tried looking for some but I've thus far failed... So if anyone has them or doesn't mind making some I'd be very grateful.
Considering this is my request I think I am the sole right to ending the thread. So unless your actually being useful, Which your not... Don't bother replying.
I mean seriously if you have the time to be a pain in the ass then you have the time to actually be useful.
If you want to make it sound so easy then upload the outlines you've obviously already done...
SERIOUSLY do what I told you. There are no programs made so get over it already. What I just recommended you to do WORKS PERFECTLY FINE. Stop being a needy kid and do what you have to do in order to get what you want.
Translation you have no idea what your talking about. You obviously don't know the folds of the mobs either.
I'm not looking for a program, read first speak later. I'm looking for a set of pictures for reference. Not everyone like loading their texture pack into the game testing it then removing it, adjusting it, and retesting. I'd rather have outlines available.
Again don't post if your not actually gonna be of any use.
This is a REQUEST, There doesn't need to already be any. Someone can make them and I'm asking that they do and to post them.
If you continue to post in this thread with your bullcrap I'm gonna take it up to the mods.
Your harassing me within my topic and not posting anything in support of the topic. Go away.
Call me a whiny child and yet you can't see past your own nose...
@marsvalient: With all due respect, you're being quite abrasive. All the input offered above has been legitimate.

I've taken a look at the mob files, and I can sympathize with your problem.. I have no idea where to even begin on the chicken. I was going to attempt this, but I am horrible with this kind of stuff.. Best of luck to you, and have a free bump.

Notch could replace Minecraft.net with goatse tomorrow and never publish an update again; the only legal recourse I have is to shake my fist at the screen.
I got lucky with the chicken... First attempt was somehow right...
Even if he suggests a legitimate method to make an outline, It doesn't really mean that I must do it myself. My pc is an old Netbook and opening and closing Minecraft multiple times to run out and find the skin I just edited (because no a -insert any mod name here- isn't just going to magically be where I need it at the time I need it) doesn't work out so well with me.
I can upload grids for the stuff I did correctly if it helps getting the ball rolling. But as far as stuff like the Spider, and sheep (and maybe my pig, I think my pig's body is upside down) I have no clue...
Hell honestly I think I only need a grid for the sheep and Spider... All the others I can probably upload myself(pretty sure I have them correct.... maybe...)

Like with sheep and spiders. The back part of the spider and the body of the sheep have really weird folds and I keep messing up.
for the Cubes it's easy but when it comes to the odd rectangular prisms I just get messed up.

Some people I swear....
