Go to go to school today, but after school I'm going to work on the it vigorously.
The input box code is crap, it wont work. Which means I need to recode that.
I'm going to work on the list and populating it with the item id's and pictures.
When that's over, I'm going to work on the main function then go back to the input box.
If I can't get the input box fixed by tomorrow morning, I'm tossing it out and creating up/down arrows (D:)

Eep. Arrows are dull. Also, could you add hotkeys once you get a stable release 'n' stuff? Make it use lahwrans settings API so you can change the keys that increase/decrease stacksize of what item you are currently holding. That'd be lovely, seeing as I used rustywolf's before he made it blegh.
can't wait for it to be released :tongue.gif:
But it look like the best thing ever, bro, good job!

I was told to hold off this mod until after Beta.
Though, this week is going to be rough since it's getting close to vacation (Friday is a day off, followed by a week and a half off)
But none the less, I WILL HAVE THIS MOD WORK!
No exceptions!

Haven't had time to work on it.

Sure is.
Along with my homework, as well.
All in one week, I have to do:
-50 pages of notes, 10 pages of vocabulary
-a science project
-a website for my school's robotics team
-an essay that's 3 pages long
-a Geometry review packet of 6 pages in length
._.

Could you make this work for SMP also even if it is server side so that build servers could use it. I understand disabling some blocks like TNT, bedrock, lava, and water but it would also be really helpful if it could be used in SMP.
Diamonds for inspiration.

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot- proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning.
In SMP an inventory editor is not needed, just have the admin op everyone he trusts and you can use the /give command.
Once I'm done with this, I'll probably go on to creating an admin console for servers.

and that'd be sooooooooo appreciated, /give (/item for hmod) is so annoying, unless you go to the hassle of memorizing each item id
I've decided to use Lahwran's Settings API so I can do the GUI..
I'm having too much trouble with this list and this input box :/
Once I get that up and going, I might get a list of all available item codes for mods, then have a script that checks if the items are in the game or not. If they are, it displays any new items.
I'll try to get an auto-updater for that ^^

if the input boxes are a problem, you could always just do it like this- list of items, just click the item you want and you automatically pick up a stack of 64. or 60, 50, 40, some number
or, you could use the code the crafting table uses, where you click the item it picks up one, click again to pick up another (like when i make torches, i drop all my coal and all my sticks in the crafting table, then just alternate left and right clicks to collect the 4/4/4/4/4 that it produces). make each click pick 1 item, that way you can take just what you need
or, as someone else stated, you could use clickable arrows... altho i agree that that is cumbersome/ugly
just some food for thought
as for the list script thingy for mod-added items, sounds cool
EDIT: i'm curious why you'd even bother with the durability input? i understand the principle of "+'d armor = godmode", but peaceful difficulty is much more efficient for that, and increased durability tools is pointless considering you can just take a tool and stack it to 64 for the same (if not better) result (you cant stack tools with +'d durability, it'll get 1 use then vanish)

Interesting, but Lahwran has an input box as well as a list I could use. :biggrin.gif:

I'm going to make it so if there's an item in the slot and you want to repair it, then you can set the durability to 0 and it's good to go.
Same with stacking. ^^
