I think it's ridiculous that a mod gets pulled because of the modders unfortunate choice of words. This mod was also removed because of the use of the word hack in the thread. flyhack-mod concerns. It's a great mod too and all it does is allow you to fly around with ease and build while your doing it. I have tried this mod and it is awesome. The controls are great and you can maneuver and land on a dime easily. Clicking on the link the op posted now gives you the message, "You are not authorized to read this forum". If this mod and Custom Crafting Recipes were pulled because of the use of the word hack, then they should be reviewed and reinstated by the forum moderators. If it's not a hack then it shouldn't be punished as such. The use of the word hack doesn't make it so.
There is literally no difference between a hack and a mod since there is no official modding API. Every single mod is a hack. They all work by altering undocumented, commercial game code.
Did any of you even consider that the coder might have taken down the topic? -.-

Notch could replace Minecraft.net with goatse tomorrow and never publish an update again; the only legal recourse I have is to shake my fist at the screen.
The flying mod and the custom recipes mod belonged to the same guy. Both were removed because of the use of the word hack. You can see that by reading this thread: Flyingmod.

Yes. I found a "Link" to the thread, and it took me to a page stating
"This page can only be accessed with administrative privileges."
Or something similar. It is still there, just blocked from public view.
i thought the whole point of computer games was that you can mod them and make them personalized. it seems like notch is jealous cause he didn't think of some of them. its game might as well be a console game

Several days ago I've edited old, v4 version, to work with MC 1.2.2, because v5 wasn't working with modloader (it didn't load any recipes). Here it is. Have fun :tongue.gif:.
Tried this version, every time I place an item into a crafting area Minecraft implodes.
Edit1: I'm just going to make Custom Recipies for People, check out my "Guide to Coding Recipies" topic and post a suggestion there, I'm adicted to coding so you can go crazy

Same thing happened to me, make sure you're putting all three java files into minecraft.jar and using recipes.txt in the bin folder with whatever recipes you want to use.
I tried using this, I wasn't sure how to install this one in particular, as the instructions were kinda vague. I put the Worker.class and the mod_recipe.class file in the Minecraft.jar and all three text files in /bin.
But I get an error when I open my Inventory. Could someone make a video? The Mod said if I wanted to only add recipes to do it that way....

Try adding all 3 .class files to your minecraft jar file. That's the only way I've managed to get it to work with 1.2.2.
That's bullcrap. You must be stupid or something, because that is INCORRECT!
Edit: No warning issued, but this is unnecessary.
