I have the same error, I just got it working again, sort of.
Bucyruss, You forgot to put the tumbleweed.class file in the latest biome mod's archive. That's the source of the problem.
Edit: found another problem after putting an old copy (last update you posted) of the tumbleweed class in the minecraft.jar.
For all to see, it is as follows:
Minecraft has crashed!

I'll try to track down the problem now that this error report tells me what lines of code are effected.
Hmmmm its seems you are right about the tumbleweed.class. I have a solution!
I already put the most recent tumbleweed class in there, the problem seems to be something harder to track down now, something somewhere inside the files of the latest mod version.
I don't know what to make of this 'n must be positive' error. I have found no variable n of any type anywhere.
Broke, so now i'm through the wall, the Biome mod is in, and i'm looking at a pretty decent world, that i will now begin to edit the settings to get my Desert-Caveworld....Mucho Gracias.....
I couldnt get the tumbleweed from 11.2 to go into minecraft.jar, AND Have 11.2_1 go in as well, so i Just straight up used 11.2 all the way....Time to edit the values....
Any lead time on the SMP update? I'm running the Biome Mod on my server and we are getting very frequent crashes that I'm hoping the latest server update will fix.
At least I'm guessing its the Minecraft server... this is the crash I'm seeing.

For the last 2 or 3 versions of this mod, whenever I try to make a new world, I always get either this error or something pretty close to it.

I hate to post this because there are so many other error reports (sorry Bucyruss!) but I have one thing that is kind of a bummer for me personally. It seems with Notch's new code to produce small pond/lakes on the surface the remove surface water from deserts option is busted. I tried to get around this and do replaceStationarywater:Slowsand and replaceWater:Slowsand and it works on everything but the code that puts in water on the "small pond/lake" scale. So essentially I can't get around having these small ponds and lakes everywhere in my game. T_T
You are doing a great job though Bucyruss so keep up the good work man! What your doing is very much appreciated and honestly if you can keep the interest up hopefully by Beta the code changes will start to shrink a bit (if Notch puts less new content in). Also, when the game goes gold finally it will be much easier to make longer lasting mods without needed to "update". In any case, we are in some volatile times :smile.gif:
I know how to fix all the errors above (and what I did wrong in the update) but I'm still out of town so it'll be a few hours before I can fix the problems. Really sorry everyone.
I was getting the same errors with the Tumbleweed, but I just reverted back to the 1.2.5 build until everything gets ironed out. Last thing I want to do is break something else, hehe.
No problem, Bucyruss! Take your time and enjoy some fresh air. :smile.gif: Will patiently wait until you get back.

Can someone suggest to me an "ZOMGWTFBBQ EPIC" setting? I have no idea where to start.
I haven't read this thread but going here may be a good start: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=93573
Also this next thread has excellent documentation on how different variables work and how to get certain effects you want: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=98273
Hmmmm its seems you are right about the tumbleweed.class. I have a solution!
First download the mod from here: http://www.mediafire.com/?bco4j4k9plzmjdo
Take only the tumbleweed.class from that download and put it in your minecraft.jar archive.
Second download the mod from here: http://www.mediafire.com/?muab21nctrp2s2y
Install everything from this mod version. I haven't tested this but it should work!
EDIT: Sorry I had the wrong download link at first. This should be right. The first download is to version 11.2, the second is to version 11.2_1
Edit: Tried the old version, same error.
At least I'm guessing its the Minecraft server... this is the crash I'm seeing.
Can anyone help me out?

Yep, everyone's getting the 'n must be positive' error, it looks like.
Right now the mod's not working. It'll be fixed soon though.
And Bucyruss, I wonder what are your personal settings. =3
