Hi, I have only the biome tree: true. And appears that the gameplay have changed in the maps.
Before I was finding caves when I started to dig down, and now there are not much caves in game, I had to create caves. I am almost at the core, and didn't found a cave yet.
What is the "standard" settings of minecraft in biomes?
Thanks
First of all this is by far a must need mod for your smp servers
second: i was wondering when the depositsize and water/lava sources are going to be done by just out of curiosity :smile.gif:
I fixed the deposit size issue earlier and just solved the water/lava source problem. Seems that when I rewrote the code I assumed that the block values for creating stationary lava and water would be those for stationary lava and water. It seems that to create stationary lava and water sources you have to pass the class that handles it the values for moving lava and water.
Going to finish the writeup of the OP and then have the new versions posted. Hopefully, that has the major issues nailed down.

ok cool and yeah i was testing it on my server earlier and it had no bugs or conflicts with any other mods i was using so im excited to use it after the smp update tommorow
Changes to this version:
- Complete rewrite of the mod (supports mod loading so that individual pieces can be used)
- SMP version created
- Added clay deposit generation options
- Added dungeon generation options
- Allow saplings to grow into biome specific trees (if option is enabled)
- Added option to allow underground lakes to spawn in the air
- Added new support for the Marble mod (not sure if the creator has updated his yet. It won't work until he does) - SSP only
- Added the ice desert biome back in
Bug fixes from vanilla Minecraft
- Fixed an error with block placement (thanks to CodeWarrior)
- Fixed the issue that tried to force player spawns on sand and led to long loading hangs. May still be buggy so let me know
Bug fixes from pre v10.0
- Fixed underground lakes from spawning in the air by default
Bug fixes from the v10.0 RC/Preview on page 29
- Fixes missing deposit size settings
- Fixed missing section for lava pools in cave mod in the settings file
- Fixed issue that was allowing players to spawn underground
- Fixed missing ice desert biome type from nearest neighbor block replacement algorithm
- Fixed problem that was causing water and lava source blocks to not update and flow
Again, major apologies for the immense wait on getting anything new posted from v9.1. Hopefully the new model will hold up for a while and I won't have to go through that again. Thanksgiving is here and I have family coming in so I'll be preoccupied for the next couple of days and won't have much time to do anything to the mod. I know an update is due tomorrow so I will try to, at least, get the mod updated following that before I duck out for the holiday.
Enjoy and, as always, let me know if you find any bugs or have suggestions for new features. I don't always get to every post and forget to go back to respond sometimes, so repeat yourself or send me a PM if necessary.

EDIT: Nevermind. had a misplaced decimal in my ini file. totally my bad. keep up the great work!
I just wanted to say that you have no reason to feel bad about being slower on updating. You update at an amazing pace, and the work you do is incredible. Have a great thanksgiving.

The odds (out of 100) that the game will attempt to make a deposit.
For some reason this seems ambiguous to me. Can I get a clarification?
Does it mean that there is a 0-100 percent chance the world will have this?
--or--
Does it mean that there is a 0-100 percent chance it will exist per chunk? i.e. If set to 50 then there's a 50 percent chance Diamond set 4 will actually exist at all in a chunk and then if so then at the frequency given.
I need help! I don't know how to use the mod. I've downloaded it, but what next? I tried pasting the .class files from the mod into minecraft.jar, but it keeps giving me a bunch of errors that make no sense at all like "can't rename" or "can't create" minecraft.jar, or that it's open in another process which I know is not true. Anyway, even if I got all the files into minecraft.jar, there is no biomesetting.txt in my .minecraft file. I tried pasting the default one available in this thread, but it had no effect.
Basically, what happens after I download the mod? The instructions given here did nothing, and everywhere I look people seem to be assuming that it just works automatically after you download it, but there is a step that I am missing somewhere.
right-click minecraft.jar in .minecraft/bin folder
izarc -> open with izarc
drag .class files in, click 'yes to all'
delete META-INF folder
close izarc
run Minecraft.jar in .minecraft folder

This method worked for me for 9.1, but 10 STILL doesn't work. Everything starts up fine, but the .ini file has no effect whatsoever.
Yes, it won't work because Notch has just released v1.2.3 (ha) and broke the game (HA), rendering mods out-of-date. He has released v1.2.3_01 so hopefully it'll be safe for this and other mods to update ... at least until Notch breaks the game again. We love you Notch.
SMP is going to be iffy for any mods for a little while...
Bucy, I take it v10 will for the moment be only 1.2.2 compatible? I haven't given it a shot yet because of the various issues I heard about. (still using 9.1) But with your most recent update I'll start with my pristine 1.2.2 MC and give it a shot :smile.gif:

Hey Crazy,
I turned his initial post into a Minepedia Wiki page. You can open the pics and read slightly more formatted code.
It's here:

Doesn't appear to work with the latest update. I might be wrong, but I'm getting nothing :sad.gif:
I guess I'll just have to go back to studying for exams for the day...
Yes, please! Specifically, all parts of the mod seem to be working except: kf.class, ls.class, pj.class, and ps.class.
Also, I wish Notch would make updates voluntary, or at least give an on-screen warning so I can cancel and back up my .jar file.

Of course :smile.gif:
I just woke up and saw the update was already out, so time to fix my mod :tongue.gif:
No. He should take his time for the incredible mod. You didn't even say please? Don't rush him.
