I hadn't been able to do it myself cause i have been really busy of late, sorry guys.
Also, i don't think ill be making the mod not work when in online play, because it really just over-complicates things as i would have to look through all the code to find a var that would tell me if the players online. and then find a way to see it from the inventory or chest class...
a little update on some of the changes to MAXI-Stack that i proposed.
- About a config file for setting custom stack limits. well its proving harder than i thought due to the fact that i would need to modify a class that is only ever initialized once (so as to not continuously loading the file) and the classes that my mod uses are loaded numerous times, or at least initialized more than once. so i will keep thinking but any ideas are welcomed!
- No maxi-stack in MP, this is also tricky. i would need to have the ability to determine if the player is playing online or not, also from the classes i'm currently using. a thought i had was to simply limit the size the client would send through a socket but, that would make you lose stacks (128 would turn into 64, you would lose 64 blocks) so that is a no go.
- BUG: so i saw that in this latest release that if you access a chest all the stacks would be inf for other players. i will fix this soon! i am trying to make this mod not affect other players at all.
The latest version listed on this website does not work with Beta 1.2_01 and I've looked around and there is only one other stackable mod and that one doesnt work and doesnt tell you how high the block count goes. When will this be updated? Thank You
