I feel I might as well ask it on here too because if one area doesn't know it, another might. I'm trying to get the mod to recognize the mixcraft HD textures but it seems that the auto-patch keeps installing the standard textures and if they are removed from the obsidian folder or if the obsidian folder is removed in general, then the game crashes. Anybody know how to get the mixcraft HD edition of the textures to work or anyone have a step-by-step on how to do it? Note I do know how to install both mods, that's not the problem.

The original textures are appearing instead of the Mixcraft versions. The only reason I can see this happening is that the folder named obsidian contains the original textures and if those are deleted the game crashes. The mixcraft versions are installed but they're being overridden by the original textures which are in another folder in gui with the mixcraft textures. I don't know why this is.
Hello. I'm only 1/4th aware of what's kinda of going on. I've read some comments and i see that some people are having a "Black Screen Problem" and i also read that you said smelting doesnt work. Well i aswell have this black screen problem. when i start up minecraft and sign in my client screen go's black im not sure of what i have to do to get this to work. i would love a reply "ASAP". because im off traveling tomorrow and wont be back for a few day's. id love to play before i leave. thank's and farewell
I tried the patcher and it worked (as in, didn't blackscreen me) but the items seem to be terribly weaker than they were before. (After your initial balancing.)
I really suggest adding a specific version number in the OP, as a lot of updates have already happened in November.

I try manual install use 303 mod loader using 7z archive.
And try use you Automatic Patching.
But still in game new craft recept don't work.
Edit: Last post here was my error. New Problem. Why does all the Obsidian Tools and armour act like dam :Iron:? It takes forever for a Obsidian Pick to mine a cobblestone and it takes diamond like 2 seconds?! Bug? Someone fix please. I want my Obsidians worth, and I do use Fist but I want obsidian.

Works best on Dirt and Trees but works like hands on stone and ore.
Obsidian Shovel:
Works like hands.
Obsidian Axe:
Works like hands but works GREAT on leaves.
Paxel:
Doesnt work well fix it.
A major Obsidian overhaul of these needs to be done. Make it like how it was b4 the NOV. 10 update.

The Update broke the mod its being fixed.
