Here's a question (please keep in mind that I don't know anything about programing so I don't know how difficult this would be) ; would it be possible to make a sort of add-on that would make installing and controlling your mods (and possibly textures?) easier, more user-friendly?
As far as I know when people want to add more than one mod they have to find a way to make a pack, and sometimes create mixed up versions of textures to keep only the bits they like. What if we could just open a little program, where we could load all mods, and then select which one we want to enable or disable. Same for textures, where you could choose which one you want to enable, for, say, cobblestone. It would make it a lot easier to quickly make changes and test things out instead of digging into the .jar file everytime. I'm not saying those two should be in the same add-on either tho...
While I feel like this would be playing too much into Notch's coding and/or would prove to be a hell of a job, I still thought I should ask, if only to know for sure.
