I have it working now, except that when a plate is switched, it acts like a turn track instead of a straight track, so I'm attempting to isolate the cause of that. When I have that fixed, i'll upload it.
Will they be new pressure plate blocks or just modifying the current blocks? Because in creating a minecart station using current pressure plates are good to make the cart stop, however having your modified version would be good for other parts of the track when you are moving along the track.

For the moment, I'm modifying existing blocks. I'm not familiar enough with the code to add new blocks quite yet, and it would be a waste anyway, seeing how it's going to be obsolete with the new update in a few days.
Good news though, I've got the bug fixed, and the mod will be uploaded in the next few hours.
ITt might not change the code, but the code still gets obsfucated.
Sure - but the files themselves have been ID'd. At least, as I understand it, you will be able to re-find the files necessary for this mod and others fairly quickly, and adapt the code back. The code for this mod is a whopping 2 lines anyway. :wink.gif:
Yes, I fully plan on updating it. I was initially waiting to see if there would be any more quick patches from Notch, and if Autocart got fixed. Since neither have occurred, expect an update before this weekend.
I just thought of a way to use this to make automatic minecart stoppers, ones that don't need a booster to work either.
Hmm. . . . .won't be able to test it till you upload it though.
Laterz.
Personally I used it to make runaway minecart return systems. A runaway cart would crash into a empty cart on a separate track, and bounce back to me. Really handy.
Well I seem to has left out that my idea would also require the Bridges mod and AutoCart. Though the difference between having AutoCart and not having it is one booster, (once you release an update).

Thank you.

No. You will need tracks for curves, and to place the cart.
Also, I may make it so two pressure plates will not work if they are adjacent to each other, so you will need a track every other plate.
That could make for some neat light shows.
Will be downloading for my perm offline copy.
I dig straight down.
Anyway, awsome mod, would use it if I wasn't working on making a rediculously sized map right now.
Laterz.

Yeah, I know. It should be easy to fix though, since the update will not change the Minecart code.

Yes. The pressure plates will act as neutral intersections.
